I was awoken by a shaking feelings. I opened my eyes and look around me. It was a bit blurry but I could tell it was Lars. He loomed over me as if I were a small insect. "Yes?" I mumbled, pulling myself up onto a sitting position. I was still on the dock. The sun was beginning to rise over the horizon. "You fell asleep." He said. "Yeah, I know." I replied, rubbing my eyes. I stood up and steadied myself. "So, what did I miss?" Lars looked as if he were thinking back, "not much." I walked past him into the ballroom. Ken was completely sprawled out on the ground, fast asleep. "Where is the boy?" I asked, remembering the what happened before I grew too tired. "Took care of him. Made a make-shift jail cell out of bedrock. Dragged him in before he woke up." I nodded as a thank you. The ballroom was connected to the cafe so I took a stroll over there. Lars followed me and we both settled into a booth seat. "Butter, we can interrogate him and figure this out." He assured me. I smiled at him and pulled out a apple from my inventory. I bit into, allowing the sweetness to overwhelm me. "Delicious." I said through a mouth full of apple. The finished the apple quickly, finally feeling some hope for the day.
I went back into the ballroom where Ken lay on the ground. I decided to have a little fun waking him up. I produced some ice cubes from my inventory. Carefully I inched over to him. I took the handful of ice and dropped it on his head. He leaped into the air, the ice scattering every where. "What was that for?" He said, ice cubes rolling off his shirt. "Sorry, just having a little fun." I said through a laugh. He looked at me, clearly angry. Lars came over after hearing Ken's yelling. "Nice one." he said and gave me a high-five. "We have an interrogation to do." I annouced. I kicked an ice cube and it skidded across the floor until it hit a wall.
Lars lead the way to the small bedrock cage. The chamber was in the basement of the hotel. It was dark in the basement and it smelled like mold. We walked on until the cage loomed in front of us. Lars destroyed one of the blocks of the cage revealing a window for communication. I glanced around in the cage. The boy sat on the ground, his hair draped over his face, concealing him. "Hey!" Lar barked at him. The boy glanced upward but didn't speak. Lars leaned over to me and whispered something in my ear. "Butter, Im gonna let him out. You need to be ready to catch him." Next he turned to Ken, who was holding a wooden shovel proudly in his hands. "What is that?" he asked, breaking the quiet atmosphere. "A wooden shovel. What does it look like?" Ken replied, a sarcastic tone wavered in his voice. "It's a weapon" he justified. The boy still sat quietly in the chamber, keeping to himself. Lars turned to him and carefully removed the second piece of bedrock, creating an opening. "Get up." He said, his voice rough. The boy stood slowly. I pulled out my bow and arrow and Ken held up his wooden shovel. The boy held his arms up as if to surrender. "Do whatever you want." he threatened. He seemed very calm considering he had two weapons aimed at him. I knocked an arrow, attempting to create a superiority. In a blur of motion I saw the boy duck down and bolt to the entrance, which we had purposely locked. Lars ran after him and tackled him to the ground. Ken just stood there, shovel in hand staring at the wall. Lars had managed to pin the boys arms down. I rushed to his side and drew the string to my ear, aiming it at the boys face. "Nice move." Lars said cooly. The boy shook his hands figerously, attempting to free himself. Ken bolted to life. He ran to the scene and gagged the boy with some yarn he had. My hands were growing tired from holding the string back. I could feel the arrow inching forward, closer to his face. I put the bow down, the arrow clattered to the ground. "Butter! Stay armed!" yelled Lars. I ignored him, I couldn't shoot anyone else. "Tie his hands and leave the rest to me." I ordered. Ken stared at me in confusion. "Now, please." Lars carefully pulled the boy up, keeping a firm grasp on his wrist. Ken worked quickly, his hands create a knot behind the boys back. Lars released the boy, who staggered away. "Tell me about yourself." I started.
