He released me from the hug. "We need to get you safe!" I said, breaking the moment. He looked down at the floor. "Yeah, there's something I need to tell you..." I looked at him, his eyes were staring at the ground. "I know about the Wither. He attacked Minplec and hurt me. He must've moved onto your server." He nodded at me. "I know how to protect myself, but I need you help." I pulled him closer to me. "I will protect you, I promise."
The sun had fully come up. Lars and I headed downstairs. I went over to the dining room. My face warmed by the sun rays. I sat down at my place at the head of the table. "I love this server," I started, "I really do. I don't want to lose it." My eyes drifted to the gnarly wood knots in the table. "We will save it." was his response. I didn't even bother to look up. I pulled out my bow and some arrows. The wool I had wrapped around the bow was wearing thin. I knocked an arrow and pulled the rough strings up to my ear. I aimed at the window and shot. The arrow shattered the window and glass rained down. "Butter! What was that for?" Lars came to my side. "Listen, I know there is angry building in you, but you have to control it. Why don't we take a relaxing day together? Get to know each other" I nodded. I could hear the thunder of footsteps coming closer. Louis burst into the room, his eyes wide with terror. "What happened?" He yelled. "It's fine" yelled back Lars. Louis went over to the window and used some commands to put it back together. "Im sorry." was all I could manage out. Lars hugged me and I felt better. "I do need a day to relax."
We both walked out of the dining room and out onto the front deck. My eyes scanned the tree tops, looking for nothing in perticular. Lars led me off the deck and we began strolling through the spawn. His large hiking boots stomped on the brick walkway. "Butter. You're a very nice person. Im glad I met you." he said. "Same to you." I replied. We kept walking in silence until we got to the Minecart station. It was a tall arch above us with rails leading up a steep hill. "Let me take you to the resort." He said. I agreed and we each boarded a minecart. The cart started off slowly but picked up speed. I could barely hear Lars talking to me through the rattling of the rails. The cold metal pressed up against my skin as I took in the world around me. I could see the trees brushing past in swirls and the cool breeze making my hair flow behind me. I closed my eyes and allowed the rhythmic movements bring me sleep.
I awoke, what felt like an hour later. We were dipping down the final hill and arriving at the front of the building. I looked over at Lars and smiled. His eyes met mine and we shared that quick moment together. His cart slammed to a stop and he was jerked forward. I braced myself as my car jolted. I leaped out and stretched my cramped legs. "We're here!" I said. I flung my arms on him. He picked me up and pulled me in for a hug. He released me and we surrveyed the area.
