Chapter 10

"Ok, what should we do with him?" I asked Louis. Louis pondered the question and then he responded. "I think I have some medical potions in my inventory. I actually helped Maddi once on an operation so I should be capable of handling this" He said. I was happy that someone knew what they were doing. Louis pulled a Health potion out of his bag. He also pulled out a magenta potion I had never seen. "This is a revival potion" he responded, understanding my question, "I made it myself." He carefully unscrewed the lid. "Ok, you're gonna have to help me out with this one." Louis instructed. "Gen has to drink all of it for it to work. I need you to open his mouth." I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this, but I knew Gen would need it and I was willing to help any of my staff. I gingerly grabbed his jaw and with the other hand held his nose and pulled apart. Louis then tipped the liquid down his throat. After every bit was down I closed his mouth. "How long does it take to work?" I questioned. "At least 5 minutes. I haven't used it enough to know for sure." He answered. "Ill make us breakfast. The rest of the staff won't be waking up until at least 10 am considering how tiring yesterday was." 

I walked over to the kitchen and began taking out the supplies to make a bread and chicken sandwich. I turned on the furnace and cooked the chicken. Then I grabbed some fresh bread and slapped the two together. The whole process only took around 2 minutes. "Im done!" I yelled from inside the kitchen. "Ok!" Louis yelled back. I went back to the diner room and handed him his sandwich. He munched away happily. 

After 5 minutes had passed of us just eating out breakfasts I looked at Gen. His face was still pale and he showed no sign of consciousness. "What's wrong?" I asked after my last bite. "Im not sure" he inquired. Louis reached over and felt his pulse. "He seems fine" he said. I noticed his scar was getting darker. Suddenly Gen's breathing stopped. I watched as he took in a breath and then not take in the next. "Louis!!!" I yelped, shaking him furiously. He had seen the whole thing happen. "What should we?" I screamed. "Calm down, I got this" Louis pushed me away from the table and I went around to the other side. I could see his scar getting deeper as if it had been pressed into his skin. Louis dug around in his inventory and produced an aqua potion. I could read the small writing printed on the front. Time slowed down as I saw him clamp onto mouth and shove it open. He tipped the potion and poured it into his mouth. I watched silently as Gen's chest rose. He had began breathing again. "Thank you soo much!" I cheered. Louis had a glaze of sweat on his face. "I'm going to get a drink of water. You stay here and we can just monitor him together."  

I watched his breath fall and rise. Around 20 minutes later I saw his eyes flutter. "Look" I pointed to him. Louis and I watched as his eyes fluttered again. Seconds later they shot open. "Gen?" I said, gathering closer to his face. He blinked and stared at me. That's when I noticed something different about his eyes. One was black.
