"Get her into that OR NOW!" Bailey yells.

She rushes into the prep room and scrubs in as quickly as she can, whilst watching over Arizona performing CPR in tears.

"Karev! Get someone to take over and get Robbins out of there! She needs to be checked over!" Bailey yells.

Alex manages to drag Arizona away, but she's kicking and screaming, Yang takes over your CPR, and gets the defib pack started up.

Arizona collapses outside the OR door, crying and moaning in pain. Alex rips of his apron and gloves and sits down on the floor next to her. She leans into him and start sobbing uncontrollably.

Arizona sits up and starts stuttering: "I can't Alex, what if, what if *sniffs* she dies, I can't live without her *starts hyperventilating*" Arizona holds her head in her hands and starts shaking.

Alex grabs Arizona's hands and places them in his, he tilts her head up so she's looking at him and wipes away her tears.

"We've got her Robbins, Grace is in the best hands, damn it, Yang is the best, she was always the best, out of all of us. Grace will pull through, I know she will, she never gives up without a fight, and from what I can tell, she's not done fighting, not yet! Don't give up on her Arizona, she needs you now more than ever, so does Timothy!" Alex rambles.

"We love you Karev, don't let anyone ever say that you don't care, because you do Alex, you may be an ass, but you're an ass with a huge heart, I'm grateful that I helped to shape who you've become. You're our rock Alex, I don't know what me and Grace would do without you." Arizona states tearfully.

Alex embraces Arizona tightly and helps her to her feet and gets a nearby wheelchair.

"Let's get you checked out, it'll be quick, I'll get you updates on Grace every half an hour, so you don't have to worry, you need to rest now Arizona, your body has been through a lot." Alex lectures and he pushes her down through the desolate halls, eerily silent and empty.

In surgery...

"I need more lap pads!" Yang shouts.

"This bleed was a lot more extensive than I first thought, damn it! Right, change of plan, we need to do a whole valve replacement. Grace's valve is too weak to undergo a patch, and it isn't holding. 10 blade." Yang orders.

"I've managed to repair the damage to her spleen, liver and both kidneys, she'll need to be on dialysis until both kidney's can function on their own, and we won't know the full extent of her injuries until she's awake." Bailey exclaims.

"The damage to Grace's tibia can be mended with some metal rods, this will keep her bones from moving whilst it heals, I'll do what I can now, to make sure she doesn't have to go under again for another surgery later on" Callie states.

"Stats are improving and holding steady Dr's." The scrub nurse notes.

"Grace's heart is holding steady, damage looks to be maintained. She's not out of the woods yet, we need close observation on Grace for the next 24 hours, if she makes it through the night, she has good odds as surviving this." Yang states.

"Right, Wilson, are you okay closing up? I need to find out who Grace's next of kin is and speak with them regarding what is going to happen next." Bailey exclaims.

"You got it chief" Jo states.

Bailey cleans herself up and goes into her office to find your paperwork and writes down the number left for your next of kin. She dials the number and takes a big breath in.

"Hi, I'm Doctor Miranda Bailey, I'm currently in charge of Grace's med..." Bailey starts to talk before she gets interrupted.

"Uhh, Dr Bailey it's Arizona?! What's going on? Tell me now, is Grace okay?!" Arizona starts shouting down the phone.

"Robbins? Hey hey slow down! Everything is okay, Grace's surgery went extremely well, we just need OB to come down to take a look at her, and then we can clear everything, we're not out of the woods yet, but things are looking good. Anyway, this was the number Grace had written down as her next of kin. So in case of a medical emergency or any decisions that needed to be regarding Grace's medical care, you would be first port of contact." Bailey explains.

"I, I, I am Grace's port of call?" Arizona starts to cry on the other end of the line.

"Arizona, listen to me, I know this is all very scary right now, and something so very major has happened, but I need you to stay grounded for a minute okay? We need to know if it is okay to put Grace in an induced coma, or to go on a vent, what decision would she want you to make Arizona? It's down to you, neither Meredith nor Derek are written on her paperwork, so it's you who needs to make this decision, but it needs to be soon." Bailey states.

"Umm, Grace said to me she never wants to be put on a vent, and to avoid something like that at all costs, not to mention that if she wakes up, she doesn't want to have to wean herself off of the vent. I think she'd want to go into an induced coma. That way her body can recover from the trauma, it'll be on her terms and she can wake up slowly and gradually the sedation can be eased." Arizona exclaims confidently.

"Thank you Dr Robbins, I'll keep you updated, but for now, please rest, and make sure you spend every second holding your damn baby as tight as you can, life is precious" Bailey lectures.

You get transferred out of the OR and placed on a ward with other fellow colleagues who got injured during the storm, Bailey and a few other female Doctors managed to get you cleaned up and put into a pair of Arizona's pyjamas that she had in her locker from a few nights before. She secretly hoped that the smell of her might just be enough to keep you grounded and in the present.

You have been put into an induced coma, your hearing is fuzzy, but you can make out small parts of conversations of people talking to you, you can also sense Arizona's presence. You can hear her sweet snoring coming from the uncomfortable hospital chair placed right next to your bed, just close enough so that Arizona can reach your hand and grasp onto it and never let go.

You also hear the faint chuckles of Alex every now and again, you are grateful that Arizona has someone who is there for her, she needs someone right now. You feel guilty that that person can't be you. You can't be the one to hold her hand, mop up her tears and mutter words of reassurance to.

Your dad also visits everyday with Timothy, he gives you daily updates and tells you all about his everchanging personality, and how he has your eyes. You wish you could just whisk him up into your arms and snuggle him close, whilst being firmly embraced by Arizona. But you're not strong enough. Not yet, your body hasn't fully healed.

But you are alive. Arizona is alive. Timothy is alive. EVERYONE is alive! So surely, it won't be long until you can feel and act as alive as everyone else.

Not long until you can hold your delicate baby boy close in your arms.

Soon you'll be able to feel the strong and warm embrace of Arizona. Her soft lips on yours, her dainty hand entwined within your own, the strong smell of her sweet and seductive perfume, and the softness of her hair tangled within your fingers whilst you kiss her passionately on the neck. The feel of Arizona against your curves, steamy and bare, the feel of her legs entwined within yours, the feel of her ever so soft fingers working there way into every groove and sensitive area of your exposed body, so skilled, that it's as if she can read you and sense your hunger, ever so much so that it's as if she's been there before, she knows you and your cravings better than you do. Any single one of your desires are instantly fulfilled by her, without you even having to ask...

Not long, until you can tell Arizona exactly what you want...

Her, you just want her, you need her. She is like a drug that you can't live without. She turns your world, she saved you when you didn't know you needed saving. She turns your world. You can't live without her or her famously magic smile. It's what keeps you going, and makes you put up a good fight, she is and always will be your girl, the girl who was the "good man in the storm". She saved you today, from the tornado and the storm that came after it, she didn't stop, she didn't give up, she persisted and you stayed. So she really did live up to what she said...

"I'm a good man in a storm..."

She didn't lie.
