Arizona pulls up in the driveway slowly and parks up the car.
You fell asleep not long into the journey, exhausted with the mornings events. You haven't walked very much since you've been in hospital, you are still recovering. Arizona let you sleep, deciding you needed all of the sleep you could get.
Arizona leans over and whispers in your ear. "We're home sleepyhead."
You slowly open your eyes and smile softly, you stretch out and yawn. Arizona kisses you softly and plays with your hair. You both turn back and look at Timothy, he's snuggled down into his blanket, suckling on his pacifier.
"He's so perfect Grace" Arizona smiles.
"He's ours Arizona, I can't quite believe that actually we have a baby, it's so wonderful, but so scary" You laugh.
She grasps your hand gently and turns to face you, "We've got each other Grace, we can do this! It's gonna be one hell of a ride, but we've got this!" Arizona exclaims.
You kiss her passionately and hold her face close to yours, just close enough so that you can feel her breathing lightly onto your nose. You place both of your hands onto her thighs, you can feel her breathing speed up ever so slightly, she lets out a small moan and she moves closer to you.
"I've missed you" You mutter breathlessly into her ear.
Arizona starts to slowly kiss down your neck, she moves her hands down your back and pulls you close.
You hear a small cry, you both pull apart breathless, to find Timothy start to cry. You both laugh and get out of the car. Arizona starts to unload the trunk, and you go round and open up passenger door to get Timothy out.
"Well hello little man!" You smile.
You unbuckle him from his car seat and gently pull him out and onto your chest, you snuggle him close to soothe him.
"Welcome home little man!" You smile.
Arizona unlocks the front door and watches you contently from the porch.
You walk carefully towards the house, taking slow steps, concentrating on getting one foot in front of the other, so determined to make it without stopping, you start to become out of breath ever so slightly and clammy.
"You're nearly there baby" Arizona smiles reassuringly, wanting to give you some space, so you can gain back your independence.
You stop at the porch steps, letting Arizona take Timothy inside, and letting you catch your breath.
You sit down on the steps and bask in the glorious sunlight, taking a minute to compose yourself, and fully relax. The birds are chirping loudly, and you can hear Arizona laughing inside, and the sound of baby lullabies playing on the TV. A light breeze ruffles through your hair, you breathe in the fresh air, and hear light footsteps padding across the porch. You turn around to see Arizona, she holds out her hands and helps you to your feet.
"Timothy is settled in his room, I ran you a bath with those bubbles that you like, I thought you could relax a little, and then cuddle up into bed for a nap? You don't want to wear yourself out just yet!" Arizona smiles.
You pull her in gently and kiss her, "That sounds perfect baby, thank you."
You head inside and up the stairs with Arizona's help, she helps you undress gently, careful to avoid your sore spots, and she helps you gently get into the tub comfortably.
You lean back and soak into the bubbles and breathe in the heavenly smell of fresh towels and floral bath salts. Arizona crouches down next to the tub and kisses you. She gets a wash cloth and starts to wipe your face gently. She cups your face softly with both of her hands, brushing over your cuts with her thumb, kissing them ever so gently. She washes your hair with her shampoo and grabs her body wash, gently washing over your bare skin, and leaving a trail of kisses over your aching body. She moves onto your back, trying to not appear shocked when she notices how may bruises you are covered in. She goes to wash your shoulders, until she notices you flinch.
