                                              He walked over to me, his hands almost touching mine. "Sooner or later Katelin, you're gonna have to let go of him."
                          I faced Steven. "Kyle's not just something I can let go of Steven. Do you even GET that?"

                          His face was one of pure concern for me. "Of course I do. It just kills me to see you like this. I hate seeing you at war with yourself. I hate seeing you so trapped. If you'd let me, I can help you."

                          "Help me? How? By letting me cry to you, letting me scar you?"

                          Steven shook his head and grabbed my hand. "By letting me heal what happened to you. He left you, Katelin. Even if it was an accident, he left you. And I promise you, that is something I'll never do."
