"You're leaving tomorrow at around midnight." Steve said.
"Wait who's taking us?" You asked.
"A friend," Steve smiled. A friend? Wow makes so much sense. Last time one of his friends almost killed you.
"You've got today to go shopping if you need anything and you've got tomorrow to pack your stuff." Sam said. "Me and Steve won't be around, we're leaving to a meeting about the bombing that happened in the center of the city. We're leaving in a couple of hours so you probably won't see both of us until after your trip."
"Oh," you said. "Well where do we go? Like what airport,"
"There'll be a car that'll pick you up at around 11:00pm, so just be ready." Steve told us.
You looked at Bucky. He gave a weak smile. This was your chance to really get to know Mr.Robot here and you were pretty excited.
"Alright for now we can just have breakfast," Sam laughed "Now who wants pancakes?"
Everyone lifted their hand up, including Bucky. Sam smirked "Thas what I thought."
Sam made pancakes and talked to Steve while you and Bucky sat in the living room watching tv.
It was a detective movie, and someone just got murdered and you and Bucky were trying to guess who the murderer was.
"I think it's the maid," said Bucky.
"I think it's the butler, I mean look at his suit, it's literally a crime to wear something that tedious," you said. Bucky laughed.
"All right guys cmon," Sam called from the kitchen.
"Me and Steve are gonna leave a little early, you guys have fun. And don't forget to put the key under the carpet Y/N," Sam said.
"Yes sir," you said imitating a soldier.
"Alright bye Buck, bye Y/N. Don't forget that you're leaving tomorrow at 11:00pm." Said Steve.
You gave Sam a tight hug.
"Bye Sam. Be careful and call me when you can."
"Yes ma'am. You guys behave," Sam said laughing.
"Yeah yeah," you rolled your eyes playfully.
After Sam and Steve left you and Bucky had some pancakes and went back to watching tv.
"I think we should go to the mall and get some clothes at around 4:00pm," you said.
"Yeah but I'll have to be less visible," Bucky said.
You nodded. "Oh my god we HAVE to get matching outfits," you sat up looking at him. "It'll be so cool. Oh and sunglasses so you know it's like stylish and you won't be as recognizable."
"Sounds fun," said Bucky nodding.
You spent the rest of your time watching tv.
"Alright let's go," you said looking at the time.
You made Bucky wear a hoodie and a cap just in case. "You look extremely stupid Barnes," you laughed fixing his sunglasses.
"Well considering its like 4pm and I'm wearing a cap and glasses yeah I look stupid." He frowned.
You laughed. "Alright cmon." You said taking him by the forearm.
You took your car and drove to the Chevy Chase Pavilion mall. You often went there to get clothes for yourself and plus you knew a few shops where you could pick something for Bucky.
You entered the mall.
"Alright before we do anything we're gonna have to go to Starbucks," you said.
At Starbucks you got *your favorite drink* and made Bucky get the same thing. You started with shops on the first floor. Since it was summer and summers in San Francisco were always nice and sunny you made sure to get light clothes.
You made it to the second floor and a pair of mannequins caught your eye.
"Yo Barnes look," you said nodding towards the mannequins behind the glass window. On the figures were displayed two matching outfits. The women mannequin wore a grey crop top with some grey sweat pants and a light grey bucket hat. On the shirt it said 'two'. The man mannequin wore the same exact thing but it was just a normal shirt and it said 'one' on it.
"You can't actually like that Y/N," Bucky said laughing in disbelief. "It's literally the plainest outfit I've ever seen."
"I know but isn't it cute?" You said observing the outfit. "I think we should totally get it."
"Yeah whatever," he shrugged following you as you walked into the store. Bucky wasn't wrong, it was the most boring outfit you've ever seen, but yet it looked adorable.
You were done at about 8pm. You've definitely had enough clothes by now and you even managed to buy a toy cat.
"I'm fine with everything we bought today except this," he held the toy cat in his hands in front of him.
"It's gonna be our travel buddy." You smiled.
"Our what?"
"Like a travel buddy, you know it's like something you take on your journey when you go somewhere with someone." You said.
"I've literally never heard of that before."Bucky said still looking at the cat.
"Yeah that's cause I just made that up." You laughed.
"Well what about Bucky Bear?" He asked "He's still sitting on the couch waiting for you."
"Yeah that's my travel buddy." You grinned. "I got this one for you."
Bucky looked at the cat again. "It's the best thing I've ever been given." He said in a sarcastic voice.
"Cmon Barnes don't bully her, give her a name." You said.
"I'll call her Lovely." He said.
"Lovely? Did you just seriously name a cat after an adjective? I literally called the bear Bucky Bear don't you want the name to at least slightly represent my name?"
"It doesn't represent your name it represents you." He grinned.
"So I'm lovely?" You said walking over to your car and opening it.
"Exactly."
"Damn Barnes, you always got me blushing."
