Turns out Bucky couldn't sleep for the last three days because, well sorta because of you. He didn't say that it was because of you, but it was pretty obvious. You were on the couch watching Tv while Bucky was napping on your lap. You played with his hair tying small little braids.
Suddenly the phone rang. You quickly picked it up not wanting Bucky to wake up. Unknown Number.
"Hello?" You spoke quietly.
"Hey Y/N me and Steve will be there in about an hour. We stopped at a Chinese take out place do you guys want anything?" Sam said.
You glanced down at Bucky. "I think we'll both have some noodles."
"Roger that. See ya." He hung up the phone.
You looked down, he seemed to have been still asleep.
You untied all the braids fluffing his hair around. Well all except one. One next to his face. You didn't have a hair tie so you used one of the tricks where your wrap a piece of hair around the end making it function like a hair tie. He'd look adorable with it.
"Barnes," you whispered shaking him a little.
"Bucky wake up they're here." You pushed him. He sat up rubbing his eyes. "What?"
"They're here." You beamed. "Let's go." You got up from the couch leaving the room with him rushing after you. You heard the sound of car doors slamming shut. You ran down the stairs seeing Sam.
"Sam!" You shrieked running over to him.
"Y/N!" He smiled.
You crashed into him giving him the tightest hug ever. You planted a kiss on his cheek.
"I missed you too kid." He laughed hugging you just as tightly. Steve smiled looking at the two of you. His smiled then widened at the sight of Bucky.
"Hey Buck," he pulled him into a short hug. "What did you do to your hand?" He noticed the bandages.
"Oh um I slammed the car door on it." Bucky said, obviously not wanting to tell anyone the real reason.
"Ouch." Steve said. Bucky hummed in response.
"Well me and Steve are gonna go get a room and here is," he opened the back of the car and took out a two small paper bags "Your food."
He handed one to you and to Bucky.
"Thanks." Bucky said.
"Yep no problem. Cmon let's go Steve."
You turned to Bucky "I'm gonna let you hang out in my room a little more, because you look exhausted."
He smiled "Thanks. But no more braids." He added, untying the one next to his face.
