Oh No

Percy looked at me, his head titled to the side. Gods, Percy. Even with "your Athena," you have always been a Seaweed Brain. I guess I should've seen that one coming.

"What in Hera are you talking abou-" Percy asked as he lifted his head to see Ares, fifty feet above me, with his stupid sword lightly touching my chest. He was staring through me, as if his eyes could pierce my soul. Maybe they could. I guess I would find out soon enough.

His sword slipped through his hand-just a tiny bit-so that it would stab my arm instead of my heart. I could see him smirk with delight. How could Clarisse ever look at this guy as "Dad" for her whole life? I couldn't even last five seconds.

He pressed a little harder, hurting just a tiny bit. I doubted Percy noticed, because he was staring at Jason, like, "What in Hades are you doing? Are you trying to kill me, for the gods' sake?!"

"Now, let's get this over with. I have one last message for you: Annabeth, you have failed me," Ares informed.

I saw Leo with a massive hammer sneak up behind Ares. Before he could damage me, Leo nailed his arm (with the sword in it), and the weapon tore through my thigh.

Pain permeated my body. I saw blood, which was most likely mine. (No kidding, me. It's obviously yours.) My hands were sticky. I heard a shout, "Annabeth!" but the edges of my eyes were starting to see darkness.

My leg went numb as I slowly drifted off into the land of unconsciousness.

Yeah... Uh... I'm sorry about the short chapter.

I stink.

Take me now.

Bye for now!
