I closed my eyes and focused. I felt so much anger from my talk with Athena, and now she won't even talk to me without an attitude! She thinks that I'm another stupid demigod! Ugh! I could feel the fury rising up inside me. I really wanted to grab something sharp and chuck it at the wall. I could make a bad situation into a good solution. I focused the negative energy building up inside me and put it into my prayer.

"Ares, er-Father, please answer my prayer. A little act of whoever, switched my life around. Typhon is here. Right now. I need you to help me defeat him. All of the gods, actually. You know that, already. Please come."

I know that it's really bad, but it's all I could come up with. After all, I have the dumbest head here. I didn't sense his response, so I started to worry.

"Guys?" I asked.

"What's wrong?" Frank asked.

"No response!" I replied with anxiety.

"Did anyone get anything?" Leo questioned.

"Not me," Piper and Jason responded.

"Neither did I," Percy exclaimed.

"This stinks!" Frank interpreted.

"This can't be happening!" I shrieked.

"This is just like iPhones! I don't understand them!" Hazel explained.

"Well, looks like we're on our own." Leo informed.

Great. We have to fight an evil monster all on our own. Not that I should be surprised, of course. I shouldn't have assumed that the gods would come for our rescue. I have been weak without my precious, intelligent mind. Yay me.

"Well, if I die today, at least I'll be fighting by my family's side," I smiled.

"Yeah," Percy agreed while wrapping me in a hug.

"Well, let's go have some fun!" Leo charged. We all had a laugh. This was kind of peaceful, except for the hideous monster towering behind us.

"Okay. We each split apart. Jason and Piper on the left side. Hazel and Frank on the right. Leo in the back. We'll be in front," Percy instructed. "We all attack at once, and I'll give you a signal. Are we clear?"

We all nodded in agreement. I guess it's time for battle. Well, let's face it, I'm visiting Hades today. I better have a positive last thought before I die.

Percy and I dashed toward the monster. It towered over us, and I felt like a puny ant. I have only felt this weak once before. We need the Gods!

It's hideous head was focused on us, and everyone was prepared. Percy gave the signal.

We all charged. Piper and Jason went for the left foot, and Frank and Hazel went for the right. Leo struck the buttocks, while Percy and I helped them. Gold, godly blood pooled out of the organism. Sadly, this wasn't enough. His wounds sealed and healed faster than we could cut. We were getting tired, too. This was going terribly.

"Percy!" I shouted over the sounds of slashing and clashing. "How are we going to defeat him?"

"We need the gods!" he replied.

I knew that the gods weren't coming to our rescue. They almost never do. I prayed and prayed and prayed. I needed help.
