The Seven: Switched

Uh Oh

I hated being like the average demigod. Even with all of my troubles, I could read and write easily. Now, I had trouble with everything. I really wasn't used to this. I want my smart mind back!

"Percy?" I asked.

"Yeah, Annabeth?" he replied.

"How do we get back to normal?"

"I don't know, although I enjoy being like you, Wise Girl." That was so sweet of him.

"Well, I'm not exactly wise anymore, Seaweed Brain. That part is still in you."

"Okay, uh..." Percy tried giving me a pet name for Frank's powers. He failed.

"It really shows." I commented on his thinking. He still couldn't come up with one.

"You need to call me Wise Guy, then." he informed.

"Nah. Seaweed Brain fits you better."

"Fine, Wise Girl." and he kissed my forehead.

Anyway, we decided that we should go back to Camp Half-Blood to tell everybody what happened. I mean, wouldn't you want to know? I certainly would. It's the curious part in me. It's still here, though. Yay.

We packed everything up the next day and we wanted to discuss everything. Like, literally. Everything. It's not like I can help it!

When we finally took off on our journey, I couldn't help but test out what Frank could do. Im not expecting that he's violent, from his actions, at least. Maybe he was secretly violent in his thoughts, like I am. Wow, this is a big change for me.

After all of my thinking, which was ironic, we landed at a Restaurant that I wasn't too familiar with. I guess you could say that. I didn't know what it was called and it seemed a little bit older and funkier. Maybe it was from the 50s? I don't know. My, I hate this feeling!

Anyway, when we were almost done (underline the word almost), we saw some mortals stare at us in shock. It was pretty creepy. They were like, dude, there's something behind you and it's so scary, so why don't you check it out? and stuff. I was like, what? because I was no longer smart and I hated being like this.

So, I glared at them with my best wait-what-are-you-talking-about face. Then they have me the wide eyes. Right then and there, I knew something was up.
