At Camp

When we entered Camp, everything was a riot. There were wounded campers lying on the ground, with Apollo campers helping them get to the infirmary and such. Some things were on fire. Some people were still fighting a few hellhounds.

I gasped in shock. How could something like happen just like that? For the little bit of time that we were gone, this had to happen! Just my luck! But then again, how are demigods lucky? After all, this is just an ordinary life of a half-blood.

I rushed over to help the camper. Luckily, it was Katie. I was really glad to see her. Although, she did remind me of how much of a good relationship her and Travis have, which reminded me of Percy. Oh, Percy. I miss you so much.

"So what happened while we were gone?" I asked.

"Well, I have some good news!" Katie answered.

"That's great!"

"Kind of..." Katie replied.

"Go on..." I pushed.

"Well, Percy has returned!"

"Yay!" I squealed. I was so happy. It felt like my heart was about to explode! I have my Seaweed Brain back! Best. Day. Ever.

"But..." Katie's voice pitched, just like it did whenever she was nervous. I suddenly got the chills.

"He has been wounded." she continued. "He escaped from whatever trap he was in. He thinks that a demigod might have stolen him. Percy thinks that he might've been fooled by the mist because the scenes kept changing. I have no idea in what to believe."

"Where is he?" I asked. By now, we had already defeated the monsters and we were walking and talking. Like going on a usual hourly stroll.

"In the infirmary. But he says that he feels better now."

"Good," I replied as I dashed over to the infirmary. I rushed through the doors and I found a startled Percy laying up in his bed.

"Sorry," I blushed. I hadn't meant to scare him in any way.

"It's fine," Percy crackled that childish smile on his face that I loved so much. I couldn't help but feel a little bit uncomfortable.

"Why are you laughing when you are injured? Are you okay?!" I started going on and on and on and I was just really nervous because I didn't want to loose him again, again. You know?

"Hey, Wise Girl. It's perfectly fine. I just got a little cut on my shoulder. It's nothing big. Nothing to worry about." That made me feel a lot better. I relaxed my surprisingly tense body and sighed.

"I guess I'm just afraid of loosing you again." I confessed.

"Don't worry, Wise Girl. You won't." Percy sounded so sure of it that I cracked a small smile. I guess that things would be getting back to normal around here, after the destruction and damage to the campers was all fixed up and everything.
