I heard a loud BANG! just when I felt myself slipping away.
Before the butcher could chop my head off, he turned his neck to see-I don't know what he saw-but it was something bad. Because there was no pressure on the handle, the blade immediately loosened its grip on my neck when the butcher/guard hurried over to see the newly made destruction.
I slowly got up, stretching out my neck from its tight position. I heard a shout, "Percy, no!" and I soon pushed my way through doors and hallways before finding a large hole in the wall where the dungeon my friends were once held captive in.
Next to the hole, scared me right out of my pants. I knelt down in terror just as more blood started coming out of his thigh.
I now understood why someone shouted, "Percy, no!"
Percy Jackson, one of the best demigods of all time, was face-first on the ground with a sword sticking out of his thigh. He laid there unconscious, and I honestly thought that he was going to die or already had.
Because of my paranoia, I started frolicking up and down the halls, not really paying attention to the violence around me. Instead of me dying, Percy just "let himself fly" into my fight, my business. He so loves me. But, would he really just die for me, just like that? I would perish without him being with me. Would he really want to leave me?
Because of my very unhealthy Athena brain coming back, I kind of forced myself into this "thinking trance" that really only I can get myself out of. Thank you, Mother, for one of worst/best "powers" in the whole, wide world.
Anyway, when I heard a loud thud, my sidetracking thing sort of deactivated, making me unable to fathom why I had heard a this and who/what was the thud that fell.
So, after a few long moments, I finally comprehended that Leo was right next to me, but had different colored hair and I assumed different colored eyes. Even looking at Percy, he wasn't wearing what he had come into the dungeon in (I'm guessing; for I wasn't even conscious, but I did see his clothes before I left). Leo was barely breathing, and I understood that my friends were in grave danger.
I hurriedly ran silently towards the sound of clashing and realized that I was weaponless. Had the butcher removed my knife as he was about to chop my head off?
Either way, I soon found Piper's limp body on the ground as I scurried through the maze like a hungry rat looking for its cheese. I gasped as I saw that she, too, was wounded. I interpreted that this "Magic's Daughter" girl was now switching people in some new way.
I quickly jogged into the next hallway and saw Hazel and Frank lying there, unconscious as well. Was I really the only one awake? Gods, this was not going to end well.
"Daughter of Athena, you have done well, but you will never defeat me!" the all-too-familiar spider queen said.
OH.
MY.
GODS.
THE SPIDERS ARE BACK.
