Getting the Hades Out of Here

I searched Magic's Daughter, making sure I stole every single weapon on her and her evil magic dust.

This quest was going to be a lot shorter than I expected.

Now I only had one problem: how to change us back.

"Here's Leo!" Percy shouted, receiving my attention from my thoughts.

"Are you the new evil leader under a spell or something?" Leo asked, stepping back a little bit.

"No! Can't you see that she's unconscious?! Gods, Leo, you're such an idiot!" I explained.

He smirked and gave a look around our somewhat definition of a camp site. "Holy Hephaestus! What in Hades happened here?"

"Oh, just the battle between good or evil. For us demigods on this quest. It's nothing big or anything," I said with sarcasm definitely hinted (or exposed) in my voice.

"Oh, and this is totally my fault because-"

"-Hey! Stop flirting! She's mine!" Percy yelled as he cut off Leo.

"I know. These things are called 'jokes' or 'playful insults' that I am very familiar with. Loosen up, Percy," Leo laughed.

I am not Percy's. He can't imagine that I can forgive him so easily for saying that he doesn't love me anymore, right?

"Stop, Percy," I instructed.

His goofy grinned turned into a frown. "What do you mean?"

"Let's just get out of here," I sighed.

Percy looked down at the ground and frowned some more. I almost felt bad for him. Key word: almost.

Thankfully, before anyone could say anything else, Piper came around with Jason.

"Is that everyone?" I asked.

"We still need Hazel and Frank to come back," Leo informed.

"Okay. In the meantime, let's pack up. We need to go, and fast. Leo, Percy, and Jason, search for Frank and Hazel, but stick together. Piper, you're with me. We need to talk," I demanded.

After the boys left, Piper sat down on the rock next to me, and I collapsed onto the floor. Depression filled me, and I had no idea on what to do.

"What's up?" Piper said as if she read my mind.

"When Percy was under that spell/dust thing, he told me that he didn't love me anymore," I confessed.

I looked over at her, and shock was written all over her face. I knew then that I was a goner.

"Come here, Annabeth," she comforted.

Now I know that this wasn't the time for the what-is-wrong-with-my-life stuff, but I am a troubled demigod.

"It's okay. Everything will be alright. Listen, you don't need him. Percy-"

"But I do need him!" I sobbed.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the boys and Hazel (not including Frank) came running in screaming, "Ah!"

Sorry for not posting on ANYTHING. I know I shouldn't make excuses, but I've had a terrible writer's block, and I'm on vacation right now. As in, THIS VERY MOMENT.

Oh, I forgot.

Sorry that this chapter is so short! Couldn't think if anything!
