I looked at everyone. No one seemed to have an answer. "Where's Percy?!" I demanded. Where could he be?! Oh gods, help me!
"Relax, Annabeth. He fell asleep in the infirmary. He doesn't have to come to every meeting, you know that, right?" Piper explained. Why did it feel like she was hiding something from me?
"But he is a part of the seven, so he has to be here! He is in the quest. He has the right to be here!" I exclaimed. Why did everyone just give me a glare like I was crazy?
"He feel asleep. Let him have his rest." Piper argued. I'm really glad that she didn't use charm speak, because I would've totally fallen for that. I would stop worrying, and I'm not one that gives up easily.
"Well, I'm getting him. Awake or not." I say as I get up and start walking out the door. I was determined to get Percy for this meeting. After all, he was pretty curious about this event. Why couldn't he come? Wouldn't he feel betrayed?
I was already out of the big house and at the infirmary door. I dashed through the unopened doors and saw Percy in bed, but he wasn't sleeping. Oh my gods! They lied to me! Why?!
Percy looked at me and said, "What's up?" I was surprised. He truly had no idea on what was going on.
"I came to get you for the meeting."
"Oh. It's right now? I thought we had a little more time," Percy replied. He was clueless. Eh, that's my Seaweed Brain for you.
"Lets go!" I rushed. "It's right now!"
I helped Percy up, and we headed toward the big house once again. We soon entered and I gave every single person in there a death glare. Like, Really guys? You thought you could keep this from me? Well, guess what. You couldn't.
Percy sat down in the chair that I pulled up beside me. Finally, the meeting started.
"We are here to discuss about the new prophecy. We already know who is going on this quest. Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Piper, Hazel, Jason, and Frank. Percy, will you kindly create a mist for us?" Chiron began.
"Of course." Percy made a mist so that they could Iris Message Frank and Hazel.
"Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, will you please show us Frank and Hazel, at Camp Jupiter?" I through my drachma into the air.
Suddenly, Frank and Hazel appeared in the mist. Ella was reciting the prophecy that we had heard a little while ago. They were both listening to Ella.
"The seven will feel Magic's Daughter's spell. But after this, will the seven get well?" Ella finished.
"Hello. We were just about to talk about that." Jason startled them.
"Wha-" Frank jumped with Hazel. They turned around and saw us.
"Oh! Hey guys!" Hazel greeted.
"Uh, Hazel? The prophecy? We're discussing that." Frank scolded her.
"I know!" Hazel blushed.
Anyway, I was ready to start the magic of the whole meeting's purpose. Lets talk about the quest, guys! We really need to!
"Percy, are you feeling better?" I asked, just to make sure that after the meeting we could get this show on the road.
"Yeah." he replied.
"Do you think you can do the quest?" I questioned.
"Yeah, why?" Percy answered.
"I kinda want to start and get this over with. But I want to know the answers."
"Okay," Percy grinned.
"Have we figured out what the prophecy means yet?" I interrupted whatever they were doing. I wasn't paying attention to them.
"Sort of. You said that Hazel has to go to her most dreaded place, and then we will all probably meet a familiar face, because we pretty much know everyone that Percy knows in his demigod life. Did anyone else get further than that?" Piper exclaimed.
"Yeah, I did, actually. I figured this out a little while before this meeting started." I replied.
"Lets hear it," Frank urged.
"Well, I think that we'll feel the curse of Hecate's daughter, but it won't cause any pain. Wouldn't the prophecy be written differently if that wouldn't happen? I mean, the seven will grave Magic's Daughter's spell, or something? Right?"
"Maybe..." Hazel nodded her head in thought and agreement.
"Will the seven get well?" Percy questioned.
"Maybe it's asking if we'll recover from the spell!" Piper figured it out.
"That's it! You're a genius!" Jason hollered. He stole the words right out of my mouth.
"It's settled, then." Chiron decided. "You'll leave tomorrow morning to Hazel's most dreaded place. Hazel, where exactly might that be?"
"Alaska, uh, where I died."
"You'll head there, then. But remember: be careful. This is the land where the gods can't protect you. The land beyond the reach of the gods." Chiron informed.
"Lets get ready!" I instructed.
