We Switched Again?!

When I woke up, I felt groggy and tired. Everything ached and my wounds from yesterday were infected and disgusting. How wonderful.

I got up and knelt over, only to find myself throwing up. I felt awful and I needed to rest.

Either way, I headed out of wherever I was and luckily passed Percy, (at least I thought he was Percy) and bent down to greet him as he came back to life.

"Hello, Wise Girl," he cheered as he opened his sea green eyes. No one else could make me smile at a time like this. "Do you know what happened?"

Percy rubbed the back of his head and I suddenly noticed that he had blond hair. How did that happen?

"What?" Percy whined as I stared at him with a look of confusion written all over my face.

"Well, Seaweed Brain, you now have blond hair. Did you dye it or something?!" I fretted.

"No!" Percy worried. This day just got better. Plus, I puked again, but this time, right next to Percy.

"Are you alright?" he asked, attempting to show sympathy but he only cracked a goofy smile.

"I'm fine. Let's just go find the others," I responded with a horrible taste stuck in my mouth.

"Before we do that, can I tell you something?" Percy asked. What a strange question of him to ask.

"Of course," I replied.

"Well, Annabeth, you have really short, choppy, dark hair and you changed clothes for some odd reason," Percy informed me. Oh, great. Is that what the Hecate girl did to me last night?

"What?! Oh my gods! What are we going to do?!" I paced around the narrow hallway as we made our way to find Leo laying on the floor.

"By the way, how is that side wound? I saw it last night and thought you were dead," I declared.

"Little sticky. You know, dried blood and everything. Plus, that's just cold. Especially from my girlfriend," he stated with a silly look on his face.

That wasn't that bad. I mean, we have all been through a lot worse. Including recent events where we are almost murdered and everything.

I shook Leo to consciousness and stood before a fazed Leo Valdez. He had no idea of what was happening whatsoever.

"How are you feeling?" I asked.

"Weird. Like I have a new 'power' or something," he replied.

Really? Wow. I wasn't expecting that.

"Try it," Percy instructed, leaving me star-struck as Leo shot water out of the pipes in the hall, breaking through the walls. Amazing.

"What ability do you have?" I questioned as Percy's eyes widened.

"Let's see," he replied as little gems started showing up around his feet. How great this day was going.

So, we switched again. Maybe even twice, with the different colored hair and clothing changes.

How lucky for all of us.
