Everyone of us has a past Forgetting it is a must Especially if it involves darkness That memory should have thoroughly vanished.
Our wicked past appears like a chain We've been stucked to it, nightmare remains Chances are we keep looking on our back Guilty of our sins, making all those tracked.
Most of the time, we're hurt of what happened When someone wronged us, pain is retained The scar that has been left that we're stripping Now becomes fresh wound that keeps on bleeding.
On the other hand, there are some good memories Which are worthy to recall and to cherish Souvenirs of love, success and celebration Letting our hearts be full of satisfaction.
Forgiving our enemies is the key To have peace of mind, setting our hearts free Holding the grudge will just make us bitter Commend it to God, the past is over.
Leaving the past behind is the best thing to do Learning from mistakes before we totally go For God gives us many chances to be better Move forward, do not dwell on the former.
