Ever since that we are little
We keep on facing many troubles
Usually with our fellow children
Whom we've had misunderstandings.Now that we're already fully-grown
Simple conflicts had also been flown
Broader problems— now we're facing
Truly a portion of our daily living. For the pain of watching a dying family member
For sacrificing distance for the bread and butter
For waking up each day with a grieving heart
These are some strifes that can tear us apart. Not all the battles are worthy to fight
Sometimes it's better to stay on the side
Choose wisely and save your bullets
Wear wisdom like an amulet. At some point of our lives, hope is running out
As we're about to give up and so worn out
Onto the rope we must take the strongest grip
As Jesus won't release it from the other end. There's this war that is hard to diminish
A spiritual war that we shouldn't relinquish
Because it is the devil that we are wrestling
Watch and pray— it's our weakness he is attacking. In all our battles, we're not in solitude
For God is our fortress and our fortitude
Hold on to the truth, keep battling and don't retreat
As His words is our sword— we won't be defeated. If you're tired of running the race
Go to the Father and feel His embrace
Renew your strength and take a pause
Put your trust in Him and you'll be victorious.*************************************
