LIVING TESTIMONY

In former years, I was bothered
Why I continuously suffered
Seems that agony is always following me
Like a shadow that never leaves during day.
Betrayed by a dear person
Friends who are missing in action
Despised by some family members
For them, I'm a reflection of my father's weakness.
Grieved from the loss of a beloved son
Work has been stopped due to some circumstance 
Living with kids miles away from the husband
To cut off expenses 'cause we both had no income.
Developed hatred to those who erred me
Been anxious because of trials and misery
Felt envious to others who are better than me
Idolized someone which I thought 'twas okay.
Today, I fully understand 
Why such unpleasant things occurred beforehand 
Serving as my preparation to my writing journey 
As those are the messages I currently convey.
I want to tell that this world is beautiful 
It's my joy to inspire the lost and broken souls
Spreading the Lord's goodness through my experiences
As I embrace His abounding love and kindness.
Taking up the cross is not that easy
As it means forgetting myself totally
Behold, I am God's living testimony 
This ain't for my fame, but all for His glory.
