Losing someone is really a hard thing
Especially when you least expect it to happen
That someone can be a member of the family
Or a friend that means to you dearly.

When you're in the situation, you don't know what to do
You may figure out, there's no one you can hold on to
Passing away of loved ones is difficult to accept
Concluding that God had abandoned you or neglected.

Handling the pain is never so easy
You can't escape from grimness and anxiety
Uncontrollable tears will roll down in your face
Feeling helpless like your heart is being pierced.

Considering the fact that this life is only borrowed
From our Creator, this precious breath He had authored
Thinking on the brighter side, surely He has a message
To be drawn nearer to Him and feel His presence.

Our life here on earth is just temporal
As heaven will be our home for eternal
It is as brief as the dew in the morning
For it will fade as soon as the sun is rising.

Reading the Bible is one strong action
To conquer  sorrow and eradicate depression
Listening to praise and worship songs will also lessen
In facing the trial and carrying the burden.

Worshipping the Lord even in trouble
Surrendering all to Him and giving Him the full control
These are the sweetest acts of obedience
From there, you can gain peace and resilience.
