Things go bad before they get better chapter 30

During my talk with the doctor he told me that i should stay with Cur in the hospital no matter what and so i did. Ben went to my apartment and got me all the clothes i needed plus my bathroom stuff. He had a personal room which was nice for everyone, him, me his parents and his skate team. The hospital brought me food at the same time the brought Curren's food which was nice because it meant i barely had to leave his side. I was worried that he wasn't saying anything since i herd him said my name the first day he was here, but the doctor told me that it was normal.

Its been about three days since he was put in here and I was laying in the bed with Curren like i usually do and i was playing with his hair talking about what we were going to do when he was all better, which was go home and cuddle and getting him all better so he can skate again. After talking for a while he blurted out "Talia, i love you please never leave me." "Of course not, the doctors are telling me that you are recovering a lot faster than what they thought because of how bad you got hit and the state of the car, the first day you where on the verge of going into a coma and they said 'when his parents saw him he was just starting to wake up and he remembered them but as soon as you walked into the room his vital signs went back to normal' and you were able to come to this room." I said kissing his nose.

"You make me better, youre like my personal medicine." He said while trying to hug me without hurting himself too much. "Yeah you're right." I replied while smiling at him. "They said that you can come home with me in a few days they just want to make sure you wont get anymore hurt and your systems wont shut down, which means i still cant leave you and so people are going to have to bring us everything we need for two weeks then you can get your arm cast off then you have to go and do treatment to get you back into shape, which means no skateboarding until the doctor says ok, you got that and don't try any funny business because i will be right by your side ever single waking moment, you will sit in the bath room with me when i shower or go pee, or something and i think the first few days i have to help you with everything, like you're my little baby." I said and he just looked at me and the doctor came right in and he looked at the doctor then back at me then i got off the bed and let the doctor do his thing.

Before the doctor left i asked if he could send us some food if he wasn't busy and he said he would get a nurse to bring it us when someone else comes to check in about 23 minutes. "Cur babe, what where you doing when you got into the car crash?" I asked him when sitting down in a chair i brought beside him bed. "Well i know how you have been so scared since qthe incident that happened while you where asleep i went to go to Walmart to get you a giant teddy bear and a lot of candy but i guess i never made it there." He said.

I laid on the bed being extremely careful like always and we both fell asleep. I herd yelling and it didn't feel like very long since i went to bed before i felt myself being carried from the bed and when i woke up fully i was on the couch and i saw the back of Curren's hospital bed being wheeled out i got scared and asked what happened when the nurse said "He crashed, most likely because of you." She said it so rudely. "I have to talk to someone nicer than you NOW!" I ended up yelling the last part, and just then the doctor came in and said "He was doing fine until an hour after he fell asleep, the medicine stopped working and he's going into a coma but we have medicine to help get him not go into the coma, so we had to bring him to another room." "Ok, what should i do now then?" I asked hoping i liked the answer but knew deep down i didn't. "Wait, we may be able to bring him back down hair in an hour but i don't know just yet." He said sadness hinted in his voice for when i have to go through.

Two weeks later

After Curren went to get the coma medicine he was fine and he was able to come back down to his room where i was awake and happy to see me. Tomorrow we have to go back to the hospital to see if he can start therapy or not. Right now we are just watching movies and talking about random things when there is a knock at the door and i go to open it and in comes my favourite people who i have only seen every day since Curr came home, Ben, Alec, Louie, and Luan.

"It would be easier if you guys just slept here," I said to them while continuing "we have two bedrooms, Curr has to stay on the couch and he doesnt let me leave it, one of you can have Currs room, one of you can be in my room, just dont touch anything,cand one of you can have the chair and then Ben lives next door so he can go home." I finished. "Will you be our mom?" Alec asked "Yeah, will you at least just cook us food, like just breakfast we can switch on who makes lunch and supper." Luan piped in. "Ill cook breakfast and we can make a lunch snack snack dinner plan." "You know you said snack twice right Tal?" Ben asked. "Yeah because Curren has to sleep during our snack time so he needs a snack too." I explained showing then what i have to do for him when. "I actually feel like a mom, and you four should be older than me and Curren's hurt so i have to take care of him." I said laying on Curren.

"Alec, go make snacks for us, I'm hungry." I said when i woke up from a nap. "Alright but I'm leaving to go home soon i have five days before i go to see my girl and my family." He said when he got up. "Fine then your on all meals but breakfast until you leave." I said. "What if we want to go skating?" Ben asked. "Well then come when Curr isn't eating or napping and ill let you go." I said. "Alright well ill be over a lot since i live in a 30 second walking distance from you guys." He said back to me. "Can i at least stay in my best friends room?" Louie asked. "Yes you can help me take care of him then go skate when hes napping." I replied.

With that the next week we did what we planned, Louie stayed with us and helped me take care of my baby while Ben came over to talk to Curr a lot.
