Surpise job offer chapter 15

The next morning i texted Curren and told him that we where going to start filming today so i went to pick him up then drove him to the place im trying to buy to film, it was already an old skate park but it was an amazing skate park, it almost looked like an indoor park. So i got everything ready after we stopped at Tates house and got all the equipment i needed to start filming. Since the park was across the street from a supermarket when we got to the park i saw people fundraising for the park, and i texted everyone in the park chat group and Ashton told his friends to start fundraising for the old new skate park. Apparently they did just that as they where selling different things, like drinks and snacks and toys.

After a full day of filming and skateboarding we decided to go back and make the website and upload the videos of Curren. We got everything done and Curren went home and he texted me telling me that he texted the whole Flip team the website that i made, and he told me to wait for their responses. I took Teg out for dinner to talk about jobs and when we were going to go looking, and she told me that Ben said that he would help us find good enough jobs to afford everything. After dinne we got home and i was so tired of filming and skating i went to bed.

I woke up to a very happy Curren standing beside the bed, which i was not expecting so i kind of yelled, scaring Curren and having Teg and Ben coming into my room. After they saw what was going on they went back to do whatever they where doing. I patted the bed beside me after sitting up and Curren says "Well our plan is starting to work, my team manager said that we can continue doing what we want to do, but theres a catch." I looked at him and said "what is it?" "Well, you have to be my personal filmer, which means putting your career on hold for me and my team, its ok if you dont want to i understand about how important careers are to people." I thought a lot about it and i said "Whats the pay like?" He started smiling and said "You can pay all apartment fees for you and Teg, and once Teg gets a job she can pay for food and clothes." I smiled and said "Lets film you." He smiled and that's the last thing I remembered before I went back to sleep.

When I woke up I went to the living room and i saw Curren sitting on a chair so i ran and jumped on him, attacking him in a hug while burying my head in his chest. I looked up at the couch and Tegan was staring at us smiling, and Ben didnt noticed us as he was watching tv like he always is. I whispered into Currens ear "Wanna go skate today?" He whispered back "yes, where do you want to go?" I replied with "I have no clue, wheres a good spot." He said "I know the perfect spot lets go." We got up and he took my hand in his intertwining our fingers and brought me to my room so i could get my board then we went to put our shoes on and i asked "Whos car are we taking?" "Lets take my car we have to go to my apartment anyways so that would be easier." He took my hand again and we walked to his apartment, i sat on the couch and he went to get his board and car keys and we were off to wherever Curren wanted to go.
We ended up going to the Team Managers house to talk about my job, like what i had to do, then i asked about a camera and he said that he was going to take care of it. So we got everything together and i set up everything i had to set up and now all i have to do is follow Curren while hes skating and film him. This would be an interesting experience and I'm all up for it.

When we left the house Curren said "So now your officially on the team as a personal filmer for me, i wanted to talk to you about out relationship." I said "Ok, what about it?" Curren started "Well ive been thinking a lot lately and i was wondering if you'd like to be my girlfriend?" I looked at him with doubt in my eyes when Curren said "Im not lying, i do want to be your boyfriend, take you out on dates, buy you random things for no reason, and just continue doing what we normally do, but i don't want to bring you into the spotlight with me, i know I've only known you for a little while but i only want whats best for you, i think this is whats best for us, 'just friends' don't do couple stuff together and i did an interview with someone a few days ago and they asked me who the girls in the pictures we posted before that are and i had to say 'oh their just my friends but i think I'm getting farther with the brown haired green eyed one, i never knew what it was like to find love but i saw her at The Berrics skating around and she was with Ceci and i just knew i had to meet her.' They told me that i was smiling like they never saw me smile before, and that was just talking about you, i know that if i was with you as boyfriend and girlfriend id never be able to stop smiling." I didnt know what to say so i awkwardly hugged him since we where buckled in in the car. I said "you drive to the skate spot you where taking me there and when we get their i will give you an answer." He amiled at me and drove off to the spot.
