After christmas chapter 38

After the presents were opened that where to the three of us Ben left and went to other friends and teammates houses to do whatever and I gave Curren his present from me which was a skateboard with our names carved into the board and grip tape.

When he opened it his eyes got wide and he looked at me and said "Really?" And I said "of course." He then placed the board down and attacked me with a hug then said "I'll be right back." Before disappearing into his bedroom and coming back with a present. "I got you two presents, the first one is under the tree." He said before finding it and giving it to me.

My first present was a pair of Currens van shoes and I hugged him as hard as I could until I sat beside him and he gave me my other present. I opened it and it was a box I looked at him and he told me to open it and so I did. In the box was a ring so I asked "what's this?"

Curren explained "it's a promise ring, I know we haven't been together that long and it would be kind of weird to ask you to marry me so I decided to give this to you, so that one day I will propose to you when we've been together longer it means that you're the only girl I'll be with and that I love you more than anything in the world and I'll protect you until the end of time." I just stared at him not knowing what to say or do.

A few minutes of us just staring at each other I attacked his lips with mine and then we proceeded to make out and it ended up with us in bed. I herd a knock at the door and so we quickly got dressed and went to see who was knocking I went to get the ring while Curren got the door and I herd "Uh, Talia." So I walked to the door and saw my best friends Tate, Austyn, Cody and Ashton. "Come in, come in." I said to my friends and then Cecil and Candi were at the door too so they came in and we all exchanged presents I knew that Curr wouldn't get my four guy friends anything so I put both of our names on those ones but I knew that because Candi and Ceci are the reasons we met he got them each something special.

I got more skateboard brand shirts and some snapbacks and a couple of beanies for the guys and Candi got me a key chain with a skateboard truck on it and then Ceci got me a skateboard with all the pros that have skated at The Berrics. All of my friends got Curren more clothes because who could go wrong with clothes.

After just hanging out for a while Curren got a call from his mom so everyone left and we loaded presents into the car we went to his parents house. When we got there everyone said merry Christmas to each other and we all opened presents and just talked until dinner time where we all ate and talked some more.

After a while of hanging around in Curren's little tree house thing with his sister we decided to go home. We got everything in the car and we were on our way home. "How was today?" I asked him after a while of silent driving. "Amazing, I'm really glad you liked the presents i got you." He replied "Well i needed new shoes and i want to support you any way i can even if it is just wearing your shoes, and the ring is absolutely beautiful." I said. "I had some help picking out the ring, your best friend helped me, but i already had the shoes for you." He said. "Really, well i love everything i got." I said before turning on the radio. We got home a little while longer and i went straight to Curren's room and got changed into one of his shirts and went to go sit with Curren until i fell asleep.

I woke up and Curren was sitting on the couch watching tv while i was cuddled up to his side. "What are we doing today Curr?" I asked him. "Shopping, Bens coming over to come with us." He replied. "Alright, i shall go get ready now." I said before getting up and going into my room. "Hey Ben." I herd from downstairs. "Hey Curren, where's girlfriend?" He asked Curren. "So he doesn't just call Curren boyfriend around me but also calls me girlfriend around him." I thought. "Upstairs, getting changed shell be down any minute." He said before i finished getting all of my money in my wallet and walking down the stairs to the boys. "Here i am." I said when i got to the bottom of the stairs. "Lets roll." Ben said before we were all out the door.

We got to the mall and Curren ran to a store leaving Ben and i alone to walk by stores and shop. "His birthday is the tenth." Ben said to me. "Yeah i know, I'm not sure what to do for him." I said. "We should plan a birthday." He said. "Yeah, it should be at The Berrics and we can invite all his teammates from all the companies he's on." I said. "Yeah thats a great idea." "But I'm not sure what to get him." I said wondering what to get him. "Get him something that will mean a lot to him, he got you a promise ring right?" He asked. "Yeah i can get him one, lets go now we can just hide it in a bag and forget about it u til i can hide it in my room." I said before dragging Ben into a store.

"Where is Curren?" I asked after about an hour of not seeing him. "I have no clue." Ben answered. "Im scared that he actually is cheating on me." I said when we sat down to eat lunch. "Like i know he got me a promise ring and everything but all the girls want him and I'm afraid he's met or is going to meet someone more pretty than me and he's going to leave me for her." I finished. "He would never, whenever we hang out just us he wont shut up about you, like even on the King Of The Road trip he was talking about christmas presents for you, like he already had the shoes picked out for you he got them on the trip they were in one of his suitcases, but he also knew he wanted to get you something that not only meant something to you, but also something to him and Matt said 'well you just met and shouldn't get married just yet maybe like a promise ring or something like that, she would love it I'm pretty sure' and i agreed i mean you love it don't you?" He ended up asking me.

"Well yeah i do but were did he end up going for an hour, not even bothering to come find me?" I questioned. "I wanna go, you should text him and tell him we want to leave, we did as much shopping as we could here." He said. I texted him and he mumbled "that dumb head." Before getting up and walking away. He came back with Curren and i asked "were was he?" Ben said "ill tell you later." Before we left to the car.
