The park plan for opening chapter 56

"Hi." Ronnie said again. "Hi." I said back. We were just standing in front of each other staring at each other and not saying anything. "Ronnie Sandoval." I said randomly after we stood there saying nothing. "Talia Marro." He then said. "Why did you want to meet me now?" He asked me. "I was upset, you and Caples are the only two people i want to see right now." I said. "Alright, thats fine, you know you're really cute." He said. "Yeah i get that a lot, thanks." I said not knowing what to say. "I bet, did Curren tell you that?" He asked. "Now that i think about it, no he never did." I said. "Maybe not out loud but he most likely was always thinking it." He said. "Yeah maybe." I said. "Curren, can we go home now please?" I asked him when he was walking towards us. "Yeah sure, but we need to make a quick stop first." He said before i hugged Ronnie and we gave each other our numbers and Curren drove me some place.

"Here is your sign." He said when putting it in the back seat. "For my park?" I asked him. "Of course, i told you i knew good sign people." He replied before getting in the drivers seat and driving back to our apartments. "See you around i guess?" I said to Curren. "Yeah, see you around." He said before walking away and i walked into my apartment.

I fell asleep on the couch again last night so when i woke up i walked right to the kitchen and made myself some cereal. "What to do today?" I asked myself. I texted Tate and invited my friends over so in 29 minutes they where here and we hung out, i brought the sign with us to my skate park and put it up. "The fence is looking nice." Austyn said when we were in the park. There wooden fence was down and a new chain link fence was around it since tomorrow is the grand opening of the park. I put the sign up on the fence and Curren got two signs made so one was the main rules and the other one was for the scooters. There was also a building for the bathrooms, they guys bathroom was at one end and the lady's bathroom was at the other so there was an empty long wall that i decided tomorrow the kids could spray paint the wall.

"Did someone get the spray paint?" I questioned. "No but do you have all the food vendors and prizes for the skate contest tomorrow?" Ashton asked me. "Yup of course i got everything before the break up." I said when i pulled out of the parking lot and drove to wal-mart to get spray paint cans. "Two of each colour boys." I said when they where filling the cart. "Alright." They said before i said "someone take the second cart and go get lights, candy and pool noodles if you can." I said. "Pool noodles?" Tate asked. "You'll see tomorrow. "How many?" Cody asked. Like almost the whole thing." I replied. So he was off but knowing him i sent Tate with him. "All done with the spray paint." Ashton said. "Ok lets go get some skateboards." I said before they replied why i said "don't ask questions just go with it." So we went to the crappy skateboards and got five of them. "How are you paying for all of this?" One of the boys asked. "Chalk." Was the only thing i replied before we got to the summer supplies and bought some chalk. "Thats everything lets go pay." I said before they asked "how are we paying for everything?" Before the mayor was at the front and i walked up to him showed him my I.D. and he said "alright, lets to find a check-out." And the boys behind me said "oh, thats how."

Candi had the truck with her when we got outside so we loaded the pool noodles into the bed of her truck and we had like 78 of them. We then got everything else into my car, meaning the spray paint, chalk, skateboards and lights were in my trunk. We all went to my house and put everything in my spare bedroom off of the living room. "The even starts at noon, i want everyone there at 11 so i have help setting up." I said. "Candi, want to sleep over so you don't have to worry about coming to my apartment before to pick up the pool noodles?" I asked her. "Sure ill go home quickly and get my things." Before she was off. "Curren come over i need help with tomorrow." I said once he picked up his phone. "Alright." He said and i herd a knock at the door. "Curren, we kinda need another car." I said when he got inside since since Cody answered the door. "Why?" He asked. "We need 78 pool noodles at my park tomorrow before noon, thats when the opening starts, and we need to set up an hour ahead, Candi's truck has some pool noodles and the tables, my car has more pool noodles and everything else, but we still need one more car for the rest of the pool noodles." I told him. "Pool noodles for what?" He asked me. "I cant tell anyone yet, but you'll see." I said then he asked "you want me to help set up too?" I said "sure," then added "do you know if Summer is still coming?"

"Yeah i think." He answered. "Alright, thats good." I said before i hugged him then he asked "can i stay and hang out?" More so to my friends than me. "If its alright with Talia please stay we need to finish talking about where everything is going." Ashton said. "You can stay, i mean you are going to help us now." I said. So i went back to explaining what to do. Candi came back with Ceci so she could help too so i explained everything to them. "I need this to go well." I told them. "Talia?" Curren said. "What Curr?" I asked. "Why are there clothes in the closet down here?" He asked me. "Ever since you left, i couldn't sleep in the room so ive been sleeping on the couch down here." I said truthfully. "Oh, have you actually been up there since?" He asked. "Yeah a couple of times, with Chaz." I replied. "Oh." Was all he said after that. "What are we doing now?" I questioned. "We are going to go home." Cody spoke for the boys besides Curren.

"Im going to go home too, if i have to wake up early i don't want to be up too late." He said. "Stay here." I said rather quickly. "Let me go get my things first then." He said before he left. "What happened after you left the party?" Candi asked me. "Well Ben brought me back to their apartment, and put me in Curren's bed, Curr slept in the bed with me and before i fell asleep he told me he misses me and i told him i miss him then i fell asleep then when i woke up i guess he changed me since i was in one of his shirts then when i walked into the kitchen i said "like old times" and then i sat down in his lap and he said "just like old times" and i took his shirt i was wearing home with me." I told them. I then texted Curren to bring me more of his shirts. "He is in love with you still." Ceci said. "Yeah he is." I said.
