She Will Not Fall (Curren Caples fanfic)

Day one chapter 2

Curren didn't hesitate to get up pulling me up with him and giving me a huge hug, and wouldn't let go at all. We just stood there in silence hugging until the door was opened and P-rod yelled to Louie that he found Curren and me. All of them, meaning Mike Mo, Mikey, Louie and Sean all ran into the lounge and said "awe" with Louie saying "i told you curren likes Talia." Then turning to Curren saying "You said you where never going to find love after what happened." To which Curren replied with "Yeah well if you saw the girl of your dreams you would be in love at first glance too." Then he also said "Although knowing what i just found out." I thoguh he was going to change his mind about me and i was about to walk away when he said "I found my perfect girl, past and all." Then I gave him another hug and Louie said that they had to go but before they left i got their numbers we said our goodbyes then the rest of the guys and I went to skate until Ceci was done work.

We got back to the apartment and Tegan and Candace were cooking dinner. So i went to put my skateboard away and then texted both Curren and Louie so they had my number. Louie texted me back saying thanks and then Curren and i had a conversation late into the night about skateboarding after dinner and we decided to meet up early in the morning so he could show me around.

I slept on an air mattress in Candi's room and when i woke up i was happy that i was going to be hanging out with Curren today. I asked Cecilia to help me get ready, Ceci was going to help me pick out the outfit and make sure my hair was perfect and my shoes matched the outfit then i ate some eggs and then watched tv to make me less nervous but as soon as Candi let Curren up to the apartment the butterflies came and i didnt know what to do so i did what i did best, hide. I suspected my friends to come find me but that didnt happen and i knew that Candi knew where i was hiding so when Curren opened the closet in Cecilia's room i didnt know what to do so i went into turtle mode trying to hide but that didnt work.

Curren finally got me out of the closet after getting Te to get me my favourite type of candy (which she knew i had some in one of my bags, i had four bags, a skateboard bag a candy bag and two clothes bags) and a promise of skateboarding all day, i got out and Curren grabbing my skateboard while i was eating nibs. We got to his car, when i didnt see his best friend i asked where Louie was and Curren said "Oh, he said that we should have as much alone time as we could get and i said 'no we dont, we can do that later' and he said 'i have other plans i forgot about, big Lou said that he would take me out to film some clips for today and have some bonding time.' So i said 'ok, then Talia and I will go skateboard around and we will have fun.' And he mumbled something I didn't understand then I left." I said "Oh, so it's just the two of us all day?" And Curren replied with "yup, like a date." Then he smiled his famous Curren Caples smile and we got into the car, Cur opening up my door for me then he stole some nibs and went to get into the driver side and we were off.

All morning we went to the different skate parks there where, we found out that I can actually skate all terrain, bowls/ pools, street, and freestyle. It was fun until I got hungry, and we went to eat at In N Out burger because I told him I'd never been because Candi likes to cook and when I was here she cooked the whole time. So we got our food and Curren said that we could go eat in his car so that no one would bother us so I said "whatever you wanna do" and we went to his car. After we were done we just say there talking about meeting some more skateboarders and I said sure then he said that he knew that there was some secret event going on at The Berrics so we went.

When we got there we saw all the cars parked and it looked like a party of some type but when we got in there we saw a lot of pro skateboarders.

We got inside and there was a mini Battle At The Berrics game going on so

Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Alec Majerus, Mike Mo Capaldi, Mikey Taylor, Paul Rodriguez, Luan Oliveria, Chaz Ortiz, Manny ,Nyjah huston, Shane O'Neill, Chris Cole, Steve Berra, Torey Pudwill, David González and Ryan Decenzo, where waiting for someone, and when they saw us they all greeted Curren and I was introduced to the rest of the skaters that I didn't know, I almost freaked out Alec Majerus and Ryan Decenzo where here and they are my second and third favourite skateboarders, the first is Curren of course. They made Curren and I be the judges and I was happy that I would get to watch a huge game of S.K.A.T.E live, and with my favourite pros/ the pros from Street League Skateboarding.

Curren and I sat down on the ledge and he stayed really close to me while the rest of the guys who weren't the first two sat around us.

The two people playing against each other's where going to be Eric Koston and Sean Malto, then Alec Majerus and Mike Mo Capaldi, then Mikey Taylor and Paul Rodriguez, then Luan Oliveria and Chaz Ortiz, then Manny Santiago and Nyjah Huston, then Shane O'Neill and Chris Cole, then Steve Berra and Torey Pudwill, and lastly David González and Ryan Decenzo. Up first was Manny Santiago and Nyjah Huston, after the first round was over Manny, Luan, Ryan, Chris, Torey, p-rod, Alec and Eric all won.

After the second round Manny, Eric, Torey and Luan won. Then the third round it was Manny and Luan then the last round began and it was really close they where both on the last letter but after a while Manny won.

After that Curren and I left and went to dinner, which we couldn't decide so we went to Taco Bell where we ate inside because there was almost no one in the place but the employees. That was good, it was like this back home too I miss home a lot but I'm not going back until I actually have my apartment. Which will be a couple of months. As Curren and I were walking to his car and he was still being a gentleman he told me that we had one more stop to make and I was wondering where it was.
