Friends and family chapter 3

We pulled up to a big house and as i was staring at it i didn't notice Curren standing by my opened door and i got out and took me to the backyard without his parents knowing and took me to this shed looking thing attached to his house and when we Got into it looked like a small room, there was a bed in the corner and a couch, table and there was a tv with an xbox hooked up. After i was done checking out the place i turned to him and asked him what it was, and he said "This is just a hang out room, when me or my sister have friends over this is where we hang out, but i want you to meet my parents because i told them what we were doing today and they said that they just have to meet you." "I'd love to meet your family." I replied and with that we went inside his parents house using the other door i just realized was there when he walked towards it and opened it for me. He really is being a gentleman, what if Sean was right at The Berrics the other day and he is starting to like me.

We went to the kitchen and his parents where sitting at the kitchen table talking so Curren cleared his throat and they both looked at us and his mom stood up and came over to us then hugged Curren, and his dad stood up and came over to us and said "son" with a head nod and Curren said "dad" and did a head nod then a girl came in and hugged curren, then when they pulled away he introduced me to his parents, ive herd of his dad because he was a pro surfer, his name is evan, then his mom whos name is Shelly and his sister, Peyton. I greeted his family and we talked until about 11 then Curren took me back to the apartment and i told him that i'd see him soon but i had to start job hunting tomorrow so we said our goodbyes and he drove down the road then i called Candi to let me into the building and then I ran up to where we were staying.

After i told the girls what happened today the first thing Tegan said was "So when are you two getting together." "I dont think we are, hes kinda not showing any sign that he likes me." I said. "Not showing any sign he likes you huh." Candi said. "I think Louie knows whats up, i was talking to him this evening and yesterday he was looking for you two at The Berrics, i asked him why he was looking for you two and he said 'i wanted to make sure that he was going to ask Talia out because he likes her a lot and i want him to be happy' and from what i got out of that is that he likes you, a lot." Ceci chimed in. I looked at them with a "really" look on my face and said that i was going to turn in for the night before i went job hunting tomorrow. Then i went to bed.

When i woke up i had some trix and lucky charms because its the cereal of champions. Then got ready to go out and job hunt. It was a pretty boring day but after i was done it was around lunch time so i texted Curren to see if he wanted to get some lunch to which he replied with sure him Louie and a couple of their flip teammates where coming too. I pulled up to the diner and got us all a table while i waited for the boys, which i did not have to wait too long because a couple of cars pulled up, Currens car and another car i havent seen, most likely one of the teammates cars. The four boys came into the diner and when they saw me walked over to me and i gave Louie and Curren a hug then they introduced me to my second favourite skater Alec Majerus and then Currens roommate Ben Nordberg.

We all sat down, Curren on one side Ben on the other Alec beside Ben and Louie in between Curren and Alec. We ordered drinks and just talked about everything, the three boys who came with Curren learning more about me and i got to learn a lot about all of them while we ate and joked around i felt like i finally found some guys that i could trust after what happened a little over nine years ago. Although tomorrow i was going to hang out with the guys who i met the first day Tegan and i met when we got here with Te's clumsy self. I think their names where Ashton, Cody, Tate and Austyn or something close to that. The guys and i ate some dessert still talking about things until we were done and Louie paid the bill we left. Both of the boys driving followed me to the apartment, then i asked the girls if they wanted to go do something and they said sure so i got the boys up to the apartment and i introduced them to my friends and we all decided to go to the beach to skate and just hang out.

Candace and Cecilia got their skateboards while i got Shawn and i asked if Tegan wanted to learn and she said "As long as Ben teaches me sure." So i asked one of the boys if they had an extra deck and Ben did so i said "Perfect, your getting stuck teach my best friend how to skateboard" to which he said "Which friend" and i replied with "that one" while pointed to Tegan and he had a smile and said "deal" then took out a smoke and started to smoke while we loaded our boards into Currens trunk then we were on our way. Louie and Tegan rode with Alec and Ben, Ben getting into the backseat while telling Alec that he was trusted with driving the car and Tegan got in the back and then Candace, Cecilia and i rode with Curren. We went to a private beach with a skate park that Candi's family owned. Alec Candi and Ceci went to the street part of the skate park while Ben went to teach Tegan how to skateboard in the basketball court, Candace's parents are rich so they have a boardwalk which has the basketball court and skate park. Curren and Louie went to the bowl and i just sat and watched because i didn't know what to do when Curren came up and sat beside me and asked what was up and so i said "Well i like being away from my parents and everything but i really miss them and i think i may be home sick."

After talking for a while i was feeling better then went to ask Candi if i could invite some friends to the beach and when she said yes i texted Cody saying to bring his three friends to the location where we were and he said but its a private beach wont we get in trouble then i said not when your friends with the owners daughter and asked him remember Candi, and he said yes then i said its her parens beach and it has a basketball court and skate park. He said that he would come in a bit and i said ok then i went to skate in the bowl with Curren and Louie then Ben came to skate for a bit while Tegan was practicing Ollie's.
