She Will Not Fall (Curren Caples fanfic)

Picnics and packing

I woke up after everything that happened last night, bags of nibs on the ground and the flowers Curren had in a vase on my nightstand. Curren was no where to be found but there was a note under the vase and it was written by Cur telling me to be ready by 12:30 and it was almost noon now. I raced around to fond something to wear as almost all of my clothes were packed away since i was leaving for my hometown tomorrow i guess Curren wanted to hang out before i left even if we were together just last night. When i was finally ready i went to the living room and Tegan was ready to go out too, i asked where she was going and said "I think the guys have something planned before we leave for Canada, I'm not sure what but it should be fun even if we are just leaving for about a week."

12:30 hit and we herd a knock at the door, the guys where standing there "We all ready to go." I said and the guys brought us to Ben's car. We all got in and Ben started to drive to where ever we were going. We got to the park I'm trying to get and went in, there were two separate picnics set up near the middle of the park, but far enough away to have privacy. Tegs and i both hugged the guys and we went to our picnic spots. Curren got out everything from the picnic basket like pop, chips and sandwiches but kept something in it so we ate and talked about what we where going to do for the next week or so, Curren was going to skate with friends and just hang out and maybe see his parents while i was going to go down to my hometown and visit all the places i hung out at trying to find the people i use to know and almost knew.

After we where finished everything he got out a bag of twizzlers and told me to read the note that he wrote to me.

It said "Tali, I wanna tell you you're beautiful, in a way that you have not heard before, I don't think it's gonna work, cause I'm not good with words."

I smiled and hugged him then Ben and Tegs came over and said that we had to go so Tegs and I could get ready for our flight tomorrow. After packing everything up I took the twizzlers and the note and we went to the car got in and off we went. "Cur, I was wondering if you would help me pack?" "Sure anything to spend more time with you." He grabbed my hand and held it the rest of the way to my apartment.

When we got back i went to my room and Cur was following me really close i picked up a bag of nibs and started eating them while i flopped on my bed with Curren just standing in the middle of my room staring at me. "What?" I herd myself saying to him who was still staring at me "You are obsessed with nibs, whenever i see you youre eating nibs, or pizza but im not complaining." I smiled at him and went back to eating and telling him where everything was and then i walked to my bathroom got my hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste ready for tomorrow.

After Curr got the rest of my clothes into the suitcase he put it on the ground and tackled me onto the bed tickling me. After a while i finally got him to stop and we were just staring at each other, until Curr looked at the clock and said "Look at the time, you have an early flight so im just going to go." I replied saying "No, i want to spend the last night we have together for a week together." He picked me up bridal style and took me to his apartment to get everything he needs the picked me up again and when we got back to my room he went to change, and after i changed i got into bed.

After a while he didnt come back from where ever he went to get changed so i went to find him, when i did he was in the kitchen talking on the phone. Luckily he had his back turned to me so i snuck up on him without saying a word and i was listening to his side of the phone call. "I know we had a plan to meet tonight after i dropped her off but shes leaving for a week tomorrow and i want to spend as much time with her as i can before all i do is skate and sleep and maybe eat while shes gone." He was nodding his head like the other person could see him. "I already told you that im not going to hurt her in any way, even if i could meet up with you i would of called and told you im not hurting my girlfriend for anything or anyone." He paused then said "I would give up skateboarding before i hurt Talia everyone knows thats not going to happen." Another pause "Well i dont care what you can offer im not doing anything." He hung up and i hid under the table before he went back to my room, i texted Teg and told her that i was going to open then shut her door for no reason before i did it and scared her.

I walked back to my room and Curr was laying on my bed he smiled at me i just looked at him the got under the covers turning away from him and moving as far away as i could. I was mad that he had that phone call in my own apartment. "You herd the call didn't you?"i stayed quite and he continued "This was not my idea, Ben is a pig like tomorrow right before you guys leave he's going to tell Tegan that they should take a week break so that he can do whatever and she can do whatever. He got the number of some chick and he told me to do the same thing. He's really dumb and i cant do that to you." After the speech he gave me i turned around and cuddled with him falling asleep as he played with my hair.

I woke up to being shaken by someone yelling at me to hurry up and get ready. I woke up and got dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a random top with a sweater for when we get closer to home, i put the sweater in my carry on then brought all the suitcases to the car with Ben and Currens help then Tegs walked put her sunglasses on and said "Lets get this week done." She said bye to Ben, then i said bye to Curren and hugged him but he wouldn't let go and i was trying to wiggle out of his hold until Ben said "Dude, she has to leave you can hug her for a million years when she comes back in a week now lets go." He finally let go and backed away like a sad little puppy. I smiled at him then got into the car and drove off to the airport.
