"I'm... not sure. In all honesty, I never really thought about it until just now. I think I'll just hideout. Stay away from people, do my own thing. Start a farm, and be ruthless to anyone who dares get in my way."

"That was a quick decision," Technoblade chuckled, his first words towards you since you arrived.

"Can I come in yet?!" Someone yelled from behind a blocked-off wooden door.

"You can try," Wilbur chimed from behind you.

"Will!" Phil snapped.

"What's happening? "

A slam came from the door, followed by a grunt of pain.

"What the fuck?!"

"Tommy!"

"Let me in you bitch!"

"We're having grown-up talk!"

"Tubbo's in there!"

"Tubbo's an honorary grownup!"

"That's not how that works!"

"He's older than you!"

"What the fuck, man?!"

Tubbo sighed, padding over to the door.

"I'll entertain him, you guys fill me in later."

Tubbo popped the wood barricading the door off with a crowbar and slipped outside, slamming it shut behind him. Phil jumped over and stuck the nails in the wall again, hitting them back in with a hammer that was, conveniently, placed on a box next to the exit.

"Okay, so Tubbo isn't here anymore. Where's Ranboo again?"

"Training. He should be back in about an hour."

"Training?"

Techno and Phil traded a look before looking back at you.

"It's not important."

"Okayyyy...."

"Do we have any plans up until then?"

"No. We just have to wait."

"Then, what do we do while we wait?"

"We eat," Philza said, pulling a string. A bell chimed, an array of steps came from above us.

"You two," He nodded at you, "need to hide. Will, remove the barricade."

Technoblade ducked behind some boxes, out of sight of the door. You soon followed, squatting down next to him.

You heard a popping noise, presumably the wooden planks being pried back off. What a back and forth.

Everything was happening so quickly. You knew you weren't going to have much time to adjust, but you didn't think you'd be jumping from introductions to dead siblings to children. Though, the rapid pace was better than sitting at home.

In all honesty, you wouldn't normally turn away the choice of death if you had it, but when the other choice is taking down the thing that plagued you (and going on an awesome adventure at that), how could you just let yourself fall over lifeless? If you were going to die anytime soon, it would be of your own accord.

You could hear the door creaking open, an echo of when Tubbo left. Plates and silverware clattered as the servants set up the table, paper rustling as maps were being put away.

A wave of brown clothing came into your vision, but before you could process anything a shriek filled your ears, and a strong arm wrapped around your waist. Something fell in front of you two, concealing you better. If you hadn't been pulled backwards, it would've fallen right onto you.

"What are you doing back there?! Get out!" Wilbur yelled.

"But sir, there's-"

"I don't care what kind of creature you think you saw, get back upstairs!"

There was dead silence after that, the only noise that was coherent was the scattering of a single pair of footsteps. And, after that, the whispering.

"Stay near me, and keep quiet," Techno lowly muttered into your ear, "We can't let anyone else see us..."

"What happened?" You whispered back.

You had a good idea of what happened, but you didn't know why everything was dark. You wanted to know what was thrown on top of you.

"Will tossed something on us. Sh," He quietly shushed you.

You relaxed your muscles slightly, knowing that there was a low chance of them finding you. Of course, you were still on edge- ready to jump at any moment.

And then the weight from Technoblade's clutch registered in your mind.

He had his arms around your waist, holding your back to his chest. You were both slowly relaxing, causing you to practically be on his lap. His head was directly behind yours, only tilted slightly, breathing down your neck. His breath was warm, much warmer than the air.

"Why are you guys just standing there? Get back to work. Nothing happened here. You, go calm him down."

You heard another person shuffling away, not sparring a 'Yes Sir' or anything. Where you were from, you were taught that a verbal response was mandatory. Maybe it was different here.

Oh well, you'd have to get used to it at some point.
