No one gave you two the all-clear for a while, to the point where you were practically cuddling. You sat there in his arms for at least 30 minutes, completely relaxed, waiting. At some point, his grip loosened from a 'hold on to you as if I'm about to lose you,' to a, 'relaxed partnership' one. He was comfortable, you'd give him that. Hell, if you weren't so mentally on edge you would've fallen asleep then and there. His cape was soft and warm, but he was warmer. A good change from the brisk air which leaked into the bunker.

Something on your side of the room stirred, and he held you tight again, this time pulling you even closer. His head was on your shoulder, the cloth of the shirt you left in being the only separation from your skin and his mouth. He let out a soft yet shaky breath which ran down your spine, leaving goosebumps in its tracks. His hands were balled into fists, gripping onto the sides of your shirt. Your now tense back sat crushed against his equally tight chest, a sense of slight discomfort from the prolonged contact.

You would be confused about how hard he was trying to keep you hidden, but you knew that if you were caught he would too be at stake. Besides, he needed you in order to get information about your Kingdom. He got you this far, he wasn't going to give up now. He could've just killed you in the throne room despite the deal you were trying to make and put your Kingdom in tatters, but instead, he took you with him. How... odd.

Does Philza know everything he's done? Surely he knows about that mass murder of the badlands, and no doubt he knows about the ongoing assassinations. But, what about Will? What if Will doesn't know, how would he react when he found out? Would he still trust Technoblade, or would he resent him? Does Will have a choice in this, or is Phil still truly ruling from the backseat?

A thousand questions swirled through your head, nothing but a headache coming from it. Either way, you were going to do what bettered your people. It, truly, would be best for your people to live without Monarchy. You knew that in the future another horrible ruler will come along and cause chaos for the citizens. So, you would fight with Technoblade and L'manburg, free your people, and settle down with a cottage of your own.

Simple enough.

You weren't quite sure what was going to happen with the palace staff. Minx, Eret, Jack, the maid staff, the rest of your non-personal staff.

Vincent was going to call you a traitor behind backs and pretend like he's trying to rescue you, you knew that much.

Minx and Eret, however. You had no idea, they were close with you- obviously. You'd have open conversations with them in your free time, mainly between court sessions and you and Vincent's arguments.

Vincent.

You would love to fire the guy, but there was a reason he got in that possession in the first place. He was high in the council before you even fit the crown, an honest surprise that you were able to anyways- since it was pre-made.

"Alright!" Phil called, "You can come out now!"

Techno immediately pulled his hands away from your waist, leaving a lingering feeling (or rather, a lack of,) where his arms once were. He stood quickly, throwing away the tarp and striding away before you scrambled to your feet.

The blue plastic-like material was strung over backward, folded over, and sticking up in one spot. It must have been some kind of weight. You stepped away, heading towards the table. There were plates in front of every seat, countless (not really, you could count them if you wanted to) plates of food in the middle.

There was one open seat on the edge of the table, Technoblade placed to the left of you and Phil on the other side (the edge). Wilbur was directly in front of you, with Tommy to his side. They were bickering about something, that was a given. Tubbo sat next to Tommy, two empty chairs left. One on the opposite end of the table that Phil was sat, and the other next to Technoblade.

You pulled out a chair and sat down, the scraping of the legs muffled by the chatter.

It had been a while since you ate with other people.
