"Who's Sally?"

"You'll figure it out soon enough. For now, we need to get ready to leave."

Next thing you know, you were back on Carl. Techno in front of you, no one else to be seen.

"Where are the others?"

"They're, uh, taking another route. A quicker one."

"Why don't we take that one then?"

"Because we need to get there at the same time. If I went that way we'd arrive way earlier."

As he said that, a swarm of crows began to circle around a spot in the woods.

"Wha-"

"Hold on."

"WAIT-"

Here you were, back in the position from earlier. Arms tucked under his, eyes hidden in his neck. Only, this time, something was different.

You were comfortable.

"C'mon, Y/N. We're resting here."

"Resting?" You perked up.

"Yeah. Resting." Technoblade turned around, putting your noses inches apart.

"You gonna let me go so I can set up camp?"

"Oh! Uhm, sorry." You pulled your arms from his waist.

"Don't worry about it. Carl can be pretty frightening on the first few rides." Techno jumped off of Carl and began to unbuckle a pack attached to the saddle, "I know the first time I rode him, I couldn't tell the difference between never wanting to get on a horse's back again or if I wanted to go across the SMP with him."

"Huh." You slid off on the other side of Carl, taking a moment to admire the small clearing that Techno had miraculously chosen for the both of you.

Technoblade stepped around onto the side that you were on, stopping to take in the scenery just as you were.

Behind the small clearing was a pond. Vines were strung across the crystal pool, mossy trees blocking the view of the water from any other side.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

"How'd you find it?" You turned to look at him, his face unreadable (per usual).

"Back before I got Carl and would take this trail I would have to stop all the time. This place was one of the usuals, and after I got him I only needed to stop once. So, I picked this place."

"Why would you have to take this trail?"

"For Will's..." Techno caught himself, biting his tongue in a way.

"Will's what?"

Techno turned to meet your gaze, his eyebrows furrowed.

He let out a breath and relaxed his face,

"Will's girlfriend."
