"C'mon, Nakano-Chan! You can do it! Come to Minato-Nii!" The seventh month old toddler stumbles forwards into the arms of the bright flash, his smile brighter than the sun.
"You did it!" Mikoto picks her up, tickling Nakano and earning giggle from the girl.
"Fugakus going to be so proud!"
"T-Tou-Shan?"
They froze, this time a certain Uzumaki yelling.
"TALKING AND WALKING IN THE SAME DAY, TTEBANE!?"
Mikoto squealed, hugging the toddler and almost suffocating her had the future hokage not saved her.
"Uh, Mikoto-Sama, she can't breathe..."
"Oh." Mikoto pulled back, looking at the toddler who let out a loud breath.
"Geez, your hugs are deadly- I MEAN THEY'RE AMAZING." Minato cowered and hid behind his wife.
"Let's go tell, Tou-San!" Nakano nodded gleefully and wrapped her small arms around her mothers neck.
"I'll be seeing you both. Thank you for watching her again."
"Oh, it's no problem!" Minato sweat lightly, giving the woman a closed eye smile.
'It's not like I'm teaching her how to throw kunai.'
"Minato's right, ttebane!" Kushina grinned. "She's great to be around!"
"Already popular, aren't you?" Mikoto tapped her daughters nose playfully, lifting her a little higher on her hip.
"Have a good day!"
"You too!"

After telling her father about her finally being able to walk and talk, she found out she could finally start training. He was glad, and even more glad when he found out he was the first word she uttered. Though he, of course, hid his emotions.
