"That's what Hiroshi said as his last words?"
"Yes..."The Senju family stood, heartbroken by the news of their son being an ally to the enemy. They sent one last look at Nakano, though there was barely any hatred this time and instead self-pity.
Once the family left, Nakano walked to the laundry room to dry her and her husband's clothes, enjoying how calm and peaceful she felt. Sure, there was still lots and lots of guilt that she felt but that came with the job of being a shinobi, and it was inevitable.
At this point, all she wanted was to stay home and always be available when they needed her despite being a retired shinobi.
Her thoughts were halted when three knocks came to the door and she heard three noisy voices. A smile slipped onto her face as she called for them to enter, revealing her smiling students.
"Sensei, we passed!"
"Of course," She ruffled their hair. "You are my student's after all. Well, I suppose you aren't anymore since you've finally become jonin." There was a small hint of sadness in her tone, that of which the three caught onto and engulfed her into a hug with a reluctant Megumi joining.
"Nope! You're always going to be our sensei!" Itadori grinned as Nobara nodded.
"Yup! No matter how messed up you are!"
"Tch, Nobara..." Megumi sighed. "You ruined the moment."
"Heh?" She snarled at him and leaned closer to his face, making a small blush appear on his cheeks as he leaned backwards.
"What are you saying...?"
"Nothing."
"Okay!" Itadori and Nakano sent each other knowing looks, mentally agreeing the two would end up in a relationship at some point. She gestured for them to follow her to her clear yard for training, the three wanting to train with her once again.
"You sure sensei?" Megumi expressed his thoughts of concern out loud. "I mean- it's just you're retired and-"
"Retired, not crippled." She ruffles his hair, having to go on her tip toes a little since him and Itadori were taller than her.
"I'm still one of the strongest."
"Hmph." Nobara nodded. "You know, you used to always say you were the strongest. Not one of them."
"Well, my little brothers are both stronger than me now, and I lost my infinity and...Kurama." She sighed. "Man I miss that tsundere fox."
"Doesn't Naruto have him?"
"Yeah, but it's not the same without him." She positions herself in a defensive stance and smiled at them. "Now then. All three of you, come at me!"
"We're warning you, we've gotten stronger." Nobara smirked along with Megumi.
