It would be three weeks before Nakano was not deemed a danger to herself and another two for her to start going on missions again.
Everyone noticed her different attitude, but only a few recognized it as her old self. She wasn't smiling at all, but she may crack a small smirk or lopsided grin with her family or fiance and students.
Though it wouldn't be another month before Sasuke had unlocked his mangekyou, and the entire clan would be mourning the loss of a very important figure.
Uchiha Fugaku was killed in battle.
Nakano and the rest of her family stood aside as she gave a speech, barely able to contain herself as it took her a while to realize her father was gone.
Later that week, many checked up with her, reassured to see she wasn't thinking anything suicidal but definitely wasn't okay.
First, she had to read what was written in her father's letter.
What was written shocked her. He wrote for her to give his mangekyou to his youngest son once he unlocked it, and to split the inheritance with his wife and children. He said a few encouraging and comforting words as well that definitely helped Nakano a little.
That was all a month ago. Sasuke didn't get Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan just yet. But she planned on handing it over soon.
She was calmed down after a bit, only to be angered once again by a note she found on her office desk.
'I will enjoy seeing you slowly die from the pain. I'll kill the next one soon.'
At least now she knew who it was. It was that masked lady who seemed to take Tobis place.
At night, Nakano laid down and searched her mind for the familiar name of Lila west, wondering where she'd heard it from.
"Hey, what's wrong?" She was interrupted from her thoughts when Kakashi opened their shared bedroom door, a towel on his waist and the rest of his body still wet from his shower.
He completely ignored the fact that she was watching and threw the towel off, looking for his night clothes while she looked away to give him privacy.
"It's...No-" He gave her a look. "I'm just thinking about one of my fights. It really is nothing. Just trying to remember someone."
"It's not bothering you too much, is it?" She shook her head and turned to the side, waiting for him to join her.
"Not really. Just another thing on my mind, I'll figure it out soon."
"Mm." The bed dipped on one side as his arms wrapped around her figure and tightly pressed her back against his chest. Kakashi had been more clingy and affectionate lately- which honestly made sense, and she wasn't complaining either.
He intertwined their fingers against her belly and kissed her neck softly.
"If it bothers you too much, then talk to me."
"I will."
"Okay..." He muttered and buried his head in her neck. "I love you."
"I love you too."
She may have traumatized her fiance.
"Kakashi-Chan, what happened in the time I was..."
"Quite a bit, if I'm honest." She tensed, and he quickly attempted to better word the sentence.
"I mean... Jiraiya-Sama left on a mission to the hidden rain and Naruto's made his own jutsu. Though it isn't very safe so he's banned from using it."
"W-Wait, what did you say?"
"He's banned from using it?"
"N-No, the f-first one."
"Jiraiya-Sama left to the hidden rain on a mission."
'I...Was too late.'
"I...See." He frowned. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She quickly turned her body around and hugged his waist, laying her head on his chest.
"Let's just go to sleep, please."
"Alright, goodnight." He kissed her head. "I won't let the bedbugs bite."
She smiled.

"Naruto..."
"H-Hey, Nee-Chan." He turned his head away. "D-Do you need something?" She grasped his head lightly and pressed it to her chest, bringing him in for a hug.
"I'm sorry, Naruto."
"All I wanted...Was for him to watch me succeed." He sobbed and clenched her shirt tightly, seeking any form of warmth.
"I just wanted to show him I could become hokage and pass on his will."
"You already did." Though he may not have realized it, Jiraiya was fully confident his student could do anything if he put his mind to it. He passed his will down to both his students, father and son.
Naruto cried as she explained, and eventually he was able to offer a weak smile before she escorted him home. He knew he could go to her no matter what whether it be for comfort or just small talk.
She was his Nee-Chan and he would do what any younger brother would. He cried and allowed her to comfort him.

"Sage training?" Nakano hummed. "Sounds like a good idea. Make sure you do good, Naruto."
"I will, thanks!" He grinned, moving to speak with his father about his training. Eventually, him and fukasaku left to begin his sage training.
Meanwhile, after decoding the sannins words, Nakano was in charge of the military alongside Shikaku, though he sent her strange looks whenever she suggested something weird.
Nonetheless, together they created appropriate teams.
And no longer than a week later, would Uzumaki Nagato and many others attack the hidden leaf.
Please go to my announcements, I posted something important there.
