Chapter 15: Rita Ji's Birthday

Months passed. After that incident Sid and Sana completely stopped talking. Their so strong bond broke all of a sudden. Their family are worried about this. They advised them many times to sort everything out. But both are stubborn. They would rather suffer than talking to each other. They are concentrating on their own personal life and professional life. But are they really happy? Let's have a closer look...

At Sana's House...

"Jasmine, did you buy the gift I told you to?" Asks Sana.

"Yeah Di. I bought this saree for Aunty. Isn't it beautiful?" Jasmine asks after showing the saree to Sana.

"Nice choice" Says Sana and puts it in the plastic cover.

"Di, going there means meeting Sid bhaiya after so long. How will you handle it?" Says Jasmine.

Suddenly Sana's smile vanishes. "It's not a big deal Jas. I agree that we didn't talk for months. But I knew that one day I've to face him. I'll behave like nothing happened. Also now he doesn't affect me that much. I'm in a happy relationship." Says Sana. She is trying to be confident.

"Really?" Asks Jasmine.

"Of course. Paras is a very good guy. In these few months I got to know him more. He isn't like that which I used to think he is. In my difficult times he was there for me. He treats me well. What else I need in a relationship?"

"Do whatever you want. After all it's your life." Says Jasmine and leaves the room.

Sana looks at the mirror. "I'm happy. I'm very happy." Sana mumbles.

At Sid's office...

"Hello Rahul, all arrangements are complete?" Asks Sid.

"Yeah bhaiya. All are done. I invited everyone. Dinner arrangement is ready. Mom's birthday gift is ready. And inviting Rashmi is your department." Says Rahul.

"Hmm. Ok. I'll try to come earlier. By the way will Sana come?"

"Yeah. Why? Oh! You two are not talking."

"It's not like that. Okay I'll call you later." Sid hangs up.

"Meeting Sana after long time will not be that easy. But hope I'll manage." Says Sid in his mind.

Rashmi enters then.

"Sidharth, there will be an interview of us today at 7.00 pm." Says Rashmi.

"What? Why did you schedule it today? Don't you know today is Mom's birthday?" Asks Sid.

"Oh sorry, I forgot. Okay you don't have to do it. I'll give the interview alone."

"But Mom invited you at our party. Won't you come?"

"How many people will there be? I hope there will be other businessmen, press, famous people...."

"No. Mom doesn't like those. It'll be a simple dinner with family members." Says Sid.

"Then there is no use of going there." Rashmi mumbles.

"Did you say anything?" Asks Sid.

"Nothing. Actually this interview is very important. People want to know about my future projects, ambitions and above all they want to know about our future plannings." Says Rashmi.

"But are this more important than Mom's birthday?"

"Of course not. But I'm doing this for my future. You are famous enough. But I have to create my place in this fashion industry. After all I have my own dreams."
