nini came down the stairs to see aria on tapping away on her phone as she smiled to herself, nini raising an eyebrow as she made her way towards her.
"hey ari,"
the girl looked up and shut off her phone "oh, hey."
"who was that?" she asks
aria shook her head "n-no one-?"
nini looks at her "was that a question or an answer?"
aria opens her mouth "uh-i-it was elena..."
a smirk came on nini's face at the sight of aria being nervous
"do you like her?" she asks with a grin
aria opens her mouth and widens her eyes "what?! no!"
"you do!" nini exclaims "you like elena!"
"no! i don't-"
"oh my god aria finally likes someone!" nini exclaims as she sits down next to aria, laughing when seeing her sister so flustered
"it's complicated!" aria groans "i have no idea what i am-i-i'm not attracted to girls but-like-she's-different..."
nini squeals quietly as aria groans in embarrassment
"i hate you." she mutters, burying her face in her pillows, nini chuckling as she shrugged her shoulders.
"well, if it helps, i think she likes you too." nini says
aria looks up "really?"
nini nodded "she's texting you at 8pm on a friday night. and i'm pretty sure a new girl to salt lake would have other things to do."
aria shakes her head with a smile "i missed you."
nini let out a breath "i missed you too."
aria brought her sister in for a hug before nini checked the time.
"oh, i've gotta go." she said as she jumped up from the sofa
"you're missing dinner?" aria asks
nini nodded "ricky's taking me on a date." she said with a small smile.
aria smirked as she bid goodbye and goodnight to nini before returning her attention to her phone, tapping away once again with a large smile on her face.
