Cassie's funeral dress👆
Cassie's POV
I woke up in my room with Sam fast asleep besides me. I looked at the clock and it read 7:30. It was a Sunday. I struggled to get out of Sam's grip and all I did was tighten his grip.

"Sam baby wake up I need to shower and change." I told Sam, trying to wake him up.

"No, five more minutes." Sam mumbled. then I remembered. I remembered Alex and the rogue and his...death.

"Sam is Alex really dead?" I asked, struggling to fight back tears. Sam was immediately wide awake and I saw tears in his eyes too

"He was a good beta." Sam said. Was. Alex died. He promised me he would stay and then he died. I started sobbing into Sam's shirt. I only got to know him for a few day an he left my life. I wailed even more.

"I never told him I forgave him. I barely even knew him." I choked out. I was still crying, but I didn't sob. I had to be strong. I couldn't be a weak Luna.

"I'm gonna go shower." I mumbled.

I went to the bathroom and showered, the warm water relaxing my muscles. I calmed down and prayed to god that Alex was gonna be okay, that he was going to be in a better place.

And yes I prayed in the shower. Well, "prayed".

I got out and wrapped a fluffy towel around me. I looked like a ghost. I didn't eat in a day and I was getting super skinny. I braided my hair and put on a blue dress that was spaghetti strapped and went down to my knees. I put on blush to make it look like I wasn't dead.

When I got out, Sam was in the room with a tray of food, involving two chocolate chip pancakes, syrup, orange juice, a granola bar and an apple.

"Eat" Sam ordered. He noticed my skinny ness and my weak state.

"I'm not hungry" I replied, my voice shaking.

'I'm hungry' Anika said.

"Anika just told me she's hungry through mind link." Sam said. I growled.

'Anika!' I yelled through mind link. she whimpered.

"Please Cassie you have to eat. please. I can't have two important people of my life die on me in the same week. Please just eat" Sam said with pleading eyes.

"Fine." I huffed.

I walked over to him and drizzled syrup on my pancakes. once I took a bite I moaned at the delicious taste. then I just couldn't stop eating. I finished the two pancakes in a matter if seconds and wolfed down the granola bar. I chugged the orange juice and quickly ate my apple. Then I noticed Sam was staring at me the entire time and my face turned red.

"And you said you weren't hungry." Sam said, a smirk on his face. I smiled.

"Um, uh, Cassie I scheduled Alex's funeral to be today." Sam said. My smile dropped. To me a funeral was accepting that the person the funeral is for is dead. I didn't want to accept that Alex was dead. he said he wouldn't leave me.

"When? And where?" I asked quietly.

"In the forest at twelve." Sam replied.

"Okay. I'm gonna ask Mari for a black dress." I whispered.

"Don't you already have one?" Sam asked confused.

"That one is not fit for a funeral. and that dress is for something else." I replied, as I walked out of the room. I headed to Mari's room.

When I walked in, I saw her in a corner sniffling. I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. She started crying into my shirt.

"It's all my fault. I've dealt with hundreds of rogues before it just when I saw those two I don't know what got into me I just panicked." she sobbed.
