(Not much goes on in this chapter) (Possible trigger warning) Yesterday Mel and Madge announced they were going to married at the end of the week in Benidorm and the whole of the Solana was invited. I didn't know if that was something to look forward to or something to dread. Kelly was still here and Mateo was still trying to get a piece. At around lunch time Kelly came over to the bar. "Buenas tardes" I greeted enthusiastically. She looked dull. "What's up with you?". "Can you spare a few seconds I want to show you and Mrs and mr Stewart something?" She seemed like she really needed to show me so I nodded my head. "Yeah of course". I hopped over the bar and followed her to Donald and Jaqueline's spot. Donald was quick to greet us. "Kelly how are you?". "Hello mr and Mrs Stewart" Kelly greeted back marching his energy. "Gaby isn't it?" He wondered. "In the flesh" i joked. "Oh what a lovely surprise!" Jaqueline cheered "come and sit down". "Thanks" both me and Kelly said in unison. I perched on the end of Jaquelines sunbeam whilst Kelly sat in Donald's. "How's your mum been after that terrible business in the pool?" Donald asked concerned. I smirked thinking back to yesterday. "Oh she's okay thanks. She said she's gonna sue the hotel and pay to have the woman's kneecaps broken. You know the one that threw her in". We all nodded as we expected that to be the case. "Still a bit upset then?" I suggested. "You could say that". "Oh dear" Donald sighed shaking his head. "And how are you?". Kelly sat upright at this question which made me do the same. "Well that's why I'm here to be honest. I need some advice". We all leaned in ready to hear her out. "I went to work last night and well this was waiting for me" she flashed a letter. I had a feeling I knew who it was off. She opened it and brought it close to her face and began to read.
"Dear Kelly. I love you. Kelly I need you. You are not like the other English pig girls. You are kind beautiful and you do not smell". I frowned at Mateos words. "You've gotta admit he has got a way with words" I said sarcasm dripping from my voice. Kelly smirked and continued. "If we cannot be together I ask for one last night of passion. I know you want this. With one night of passion I will show you that you need me as much as I need me". I snorted. "I don't even think that's a mistake" I inputted whilst smilingly. "Oh wait this is a good bit" Kelly said in sarcastic tone. "The throbbing of my heart for you is as big as the throbbing in my trousers". I burst out laughing at how pathetic Mateo was. Donald and Jaqueline looked displeased at the letter. I was too but I showed it by laughing. "I think I like him again now" she joked. "Well who wouldn't with that fine work of poetry" I sassed gesturing to the letter. "Oh PS please do not show this letter to your mother. She is crazy like stabbed bull" she scoffed. At first she looked like she was going to defend her mum and looked to see if I had anything to say but I looked at her as if to say "it's true". "No youre right he has a pint with that last bit" she agreed. "Isn't it a shame when the nice looking ones always turn out to be the nutters?" Jaqueline said from the side of me. "I mean look at Harry Secombe". We all nodded our heads in agreement. Although Mateo isn't as attractive as Harry Secombe. "Pass your pen to Kelly Jaqueline" Donald instructed pointing to Jaquelines pocket. "I think we know how to sort this out". Jaqueline reached over and gave her pen to Kelly. She put the pen to the paper whilst Donald told her what to write. "Dear Mateo I am sorry I have been avoiding you. You are right. Even if we cannot be together you deserve one last night of passion. Room 204. Love K". Kelly stopped writing. "That's not my room number" she questioned. The room number rung a bell. "I know" Donald said knowingly. All of sudden it struck me. "Hang on that's your room number" I stressed. I was all for teaching Mateo a lesson but not if it meant this. He was still one of my best friends. "Calm down Gaby. I can ensure you we won't trick him into non consent. Just gonna teach him a lesson" I calmed down at his comment. "Now we'll just go and pop this round to him. See you in a bit" he said as he got up from the sunbed and walked towards the bar followed by his wife. Kelly turned to look at me. "Do you think this will work?" She asked concerned. "Hard to say. I don't know what they have planned yet".
A few hours later darkness covered the hotel. I was dressed in one of my many Neptune's outfits. It was a blue and white dress that reached my mid thigh. My hair was in a fishtail braid and hanging over my shoulder. I was just heading into the pub when Mateo ran up behind me with a letter in his hands. Looks like four years of drama lessons would come in handy now. I held in a smirk as he said "Gaby I need you to read this". I pulled a serious and annoyed face. "Mateo I really need to get to Neptune's" I stressed gesturing to the nearby pub. He pulled a puppy dog face and said in his cute baby voice that I couldn't resist "Gaby please". I huffed and rolled my eyes. "Bloody hell gis is here" I held out my hand and he put the letter into it. I read out what Kelly had previously written. I felt a twinge of guilt but pushed it down and plastered a shocked look on my face. "Dirty bastard" i spat as I through the letter back at him. I rotated my hips and walked off towards Neptune's. "You next?" He asked jokily from behind me. I didn't even bother turning around and just held my hand above my head and stuck up my middle finger.
The night was uneventful. Just karaoke and pissed adults. For the whole duration of the night I felt guilty at the fact I had let Marie walk into something that might get him hurt. I was relieved when I saw him as I was leaving at about midnight looking only a bit traumatised. He staggered up to me and pulled me into a hug. I patted his back comfortingly. "Are you okay?" I asked concerned. I was about pull out of the hug but he didn't want to let go so I just kept hugging. After a few seconds he finally whispered in a low voice. "The note was not from Kelly".
