I felt refreshed by the waters that came out of the shower head. Normally I cringed away from water due to my frequent near drownings with HYDRA, but I actually liked the warm water. I had honestly forgotten what it felt like to be clean. I wrapped myself up in a towel and walked back out into the bedroom to find something to change into. I was already very cold and being wet didn't help. I had grown accustomed to the cool but stale and humid air in my cell rather than the cool air conditioned apartment I was in now.
I walked out and over to one of the dressers and began to sift through it. There was a lot of sweaters and sweatpants in here and I was thankful for that much. I was used to ripped up shirts and shorts. The only time I wore real clothing was when I was sent on missions. Even then, I hardly remember them due to the frequent mind wiping.
Any memories I had were just quick flashes. They weren't scenes that played out in my head, it was more like few seconds loosely tied together here and there in no particular order. I had no idea how long ago or what order any of them went in. They just existed as faint recollections of my heinous actions and crimes.
"You really had a number done on you." I heard from behind me. I turned to see Bucky standing in my doorway now out of his suit from earlier and in more casual clothes. His face didn't exactly seem like he was trying to be rude but his eyes we're looking at my arms and back intently.
"And you really need to learn how to knock." I said angrily clutching to my towel as I backed away. I already didn't like him, much less pointing out my scars and bruises.
"I did, but you were in the shower." He said shrugging.
"If you don't think for second that I won't try and kill you if you cross me," I said clutching the dresser next to me. "You're dead wrong."
"You're going to fight me in a towel?" He asked crossing his arms looking very unimpressed. "I'm shaking in my boots."
"You think I won't?" I asked him frustratingly.
"Oh I'm sure you'll try." He said chuckling as he almost laughed at me.
I stomped forward and swung my arm back and at him. He stopped it with a mere one of his own. My other hand came around and nailed him right in the jaw. His head jerked to the side and I saw him shift his jaw as his face filled with anger.
"You hit pretty hard." He said still holding onto my hand mid air.
"I can get dressed and properly finish this." I said shaking with anger.
"As much as I would love to humor this, you need to meet us in the living room." He said looking down at me as he shifted his jaw around.
"For what?" I asked jerking my hand back and away from him.
"Doesn't matter get dressed." He said stepping away.
I slammed my door and grunted in anger. I wanted to give him a piece of my mind to teach him a lesson. I didn't care who he was or what he had done, he couldn't just mess with me. He was mad if he thought he could.
I quickly got changed and put on a pair of lose grey sweatpants and a long sleeve black shirt. I frankly didn't want to have to look at myself until all of this was gone. I just prayed they weren't going to do the same things HYDRA did to me while I was here. I was paranoid this was all some big trick and they weren't actually trying to help me.
I walked out and I could hear talking in the living area of the apartment. I could see Bucky standing by the door and he looked straight to me. I could hear the voices clearer as I neared the end of the hallway.
"She's so far gone Tony." I heard the woman say. I remembered someone calling her Natasha earlier, but I didn't remember much else. "She nearly killed Rogers back at that base."
