things people get wrong about asexual people

Asexuality
A person who identifies as asexual does not experience sexual attraction or an intrinsic desire to have a sexual relationship with another

(1) People who are asexual are not attracted to anyone
If you are asexual it does not mean that you are not attracted to anyone.
Asexuality means different things to different people , just because someone doesn't experience sexual attraction does  not mean they don't experience emotional, romantic and platonic attraction

(2) Asexuality is a medical concern
There is nothing wrong with asexual people

(3)People who are asexual hate sex and do not have sex
Hating sex and not having sex are two different concepts.
The asexual community does not hate sex they just don't feel sexual attraction to anyone but there are asexual people that have sex and there are people who choose not to have sex and it is completely up to the person

(4)People who are asexual will never get married
Just because someone identifies as asexual it does not mean that they will stay single forever , them being asexual has nothing to do with their desire to get married if they have a emotional connection with someone nothing can stop them

(5)People assume that they haven't found the right one yet
When someone tells a asexual that they haven't found the right one yet you aren't accepting the person feeling and decision and finding the right person has nothing to do with someones sexuality

(6) All asexual people experience no sexual attraction at all
There are asexual people who experience no sexual attraction , some sexual attraction and others none there are different levels to it and it depends on the person because everyone is different

(7) Asexual people tend to dress a certain way
There are stereotypes on how asexual people dress but ultimately the way you dress has nothing to do with your sexuality

(8) There is a reason why people are asexual
Asexuality is not due to genetics or influenced by anything else
