What not to say to non-binary people

Non-binary
Someone who doesn't identify themselves as any gender

What not to say:

"Are you a boy or girl?"
They do not identify as any gender

"So what's going on down there?"
Whatever goes on down there is absolutely none of your business

"Are you transgender?"
Not all of non binary people transgender and some are it is totally up to them and how they feel

"Which toilet do you use?"
Whichever one they feel like using that day

"Were you a born a man or a woman?"
Whichever gender they were born has nothing to do how they feel and classify now

"Is it a he or she?"
If it is a honest mistake apologize and correct yourself but don't be an ass about it

"Do you shop in the men's or women's clothing section?"
Whichever clothing section they feel like shopping in

"Are you gay?"
If they want to be gay they will be gay and if they don't want to be gay then they won't be simple as that
