*Find your good side , usually the left side is more photogenic so use this to your advantage
*Don't position yourself in front of the camera because its going to make you look disproportionately larger
*Turning your head slightly is more flattering than facing the camera straight on
*Put your tongue behind your teeth when smiling to avoid you giving an overwise smile
*Smize (Smile with your eyes )
*Looking at a light right before the photo is taken can shrink your pupils and this will minimize the dreaded red eye look
