Trying to be happy.

Chapter 11:

(The picture is Trina and Jasmine later in the chapter the little girl has nothing to do with it but that it what they are wearing.)
I wake up at noon and groan,i do not remember getting here last night.I look at the calendar and see that it is Friday.I can go to class and be productive or I can call Trina I go with the second option and pick up my phone.Trina answers after about 10 seconds.
"Hey!" She greets cheerily.
"Hey." I answer back.
"So did you and Drew have fun he is walking around with the biggest smile on his face."She asks.
"Yea we had a great time."I answer honestly.
"Anyway wanna go out today."I add.
"Sure I'll be over to pick help you up soon."Trina says.I hang up and jump out bed.I hurry and take a showerI curl my hair and put on a colorful stripes dress,which is way shorter than my usual choice but Trina come up to my room before I can change my mind.
"Daaang!"Trina exaggerates referring to my outfit.I roll my eyes and grab my bag pulling her out of my room.
"Drew is driving us today,i didn't feel like it."Trina says,smirking.
"You know what you did."I say smiling.
"I have no idea what your talking about."Trina put her hands up in fake defense.I just flip her;before we walk out of the house I get my lip gloss out of my bag and put it on my lips.Trina laughs and I rolls my eyes before stepping out of the house.Drew's blue eyes light up when he sees us.
"Hey jazzy."He says ,basically tackling me into a hug.I hug him back and we hear the sound of a camera clicking.I pull away and we see Trina with her phone to her face.
"Stop."Drew whines,hiding in my hair.Trina just laughs and gets in the car.
"I missed you."He tells me taking his hand in mine.
"I missed you too."I tell him letting go getting into the passenger side.He flashes me a smile before stepping into the car.
"Where do you guys wanna go."Drew asks,starting the car.
"Let's go to the mall!"Trina and I squeal at the same time.Drew laughs before turning on the radio.Trina and I scream when our song comes on,Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran.The car swerves off the road;I guess we scared him.We burst into laughter,all three of us.Drew flips us both off before continuing to drive.
"People fall in love in mysterious ways,maybe just got the touch of a hand."Trina and I sing,no scream,the lyrics.Drew turns the radio off.
"God,all that time together and you couldn't teach each other how to sing."Drew says,playfully.
"Whatever."Trina and I say equally as playful.
"Okay can you save that creepy talking at the same time stuff for when I leave."He whines,we just laugh.The rest of the ride is silent.When we get to the mall Drew drops us off and the front,after we promise to call him when we are ready.
"How much money do you have."Trina asks as we step into the mall.
"$150."I answer.
"I have $100."She states.I nod as we walk in silence to Rue 21.When we get in there we are greeted by a blonde saleswoman and we walk to the back of the store to see Eric.
"What the hell."I say.I guess I was too loud because he looks up and his eyes soften.
"Hey Jasmine."He says slowly approaching us.
"How are you."He asks when he finally reaches us.
"Apparently.. just...ugh."I state in a monotone voice.
"I'm sorry for that,i was just pissed."He says quietly.
"You overreacted over me going somewhere with a friend;well I guess he more than my friend now."I say.
"Oh,well I guess it wasn't just for me your just a thot all around."
"Quièn te crees tu hablando?"Trina yells.What?
"I'm talking to Jasmine."Eric yells back.He knows Spanish?What?
"Lárgate de auquí."Trina yells back.Eric storms out of the store,fuming.
Trina flips her hair,"now let's try on some clothes."
"Ok."I say picking up some clothes off of the rack;I run into the dressing room.I put on a dress it is red,very short,and has a sweetheart neckline.Around my chest it has a heart which makes my boobs look bigger than they are.I step out and Trina looks up.
"You look really cute!"Trina squeals.
"Thanks!"i reply equally as excited,twirling in a circle.
"How much is it?"Trina asks.
"$99.99."I answer.
"It's worth it,trust me."Trina says looking down at the dress.
"Ok I'll get it."I say running my hands over the smooth material.I step back into the dressing room and quickly change back into my other dress.We pay the cashier and head on our way.We decide to go to the Chinese place and sit down and eat.We sit down on a table that forces us to face each other.
"What happened with you and Drew."Trina asks quietly.
"We just had a lot of fun on our trip."I answer,hoping she doesn't want details.
"What kind of fun,you better still be a virgin."Trina teases.
I laugh,"I am,but we kissed."I decide to be honest.
"Oh my gosh,you guys kissed."Trina squeals.
"Yea."I say,touching my lips.
"We are gonna be sister-in-laws."Trina says excitedly.I roll my eyes at how dramatic my best friend is.I like Drew,but we've only been dating for like three days.I swore we were friends almost the whole trip;in reality we've been dating since that display.I smile at the memory.
"Earth to Jasmine!"Trina yells,waving her hand in my face.
"Sorry."I mutter,taking a bite of my egg roll.I close the box,not really hungry anymore.
"Let's go."I say.
"Ok yea lets go."Trina calls Drew and he meets us back in the front of the mall.He greets me with a kiss on the cheek,before putting his hand on the small of my back.Trina give Drew the "keep your hands to your self look"and he flips her off.
"Baby look at my dress."I exclaim taking the dress out of the bag.
"It's really pretty!"He says.
"You should wear it to our date tonight,pretty."He adds.
"When?"I ask, I don't remember a date.
"Tonight."He answers.Oh.
"Ok I will."Drew takes Trina home,before he drives to mine.When we walk in hand in hand my dad is sitting on the couch.
"Who are you!"He yells at Drew.Oh God.
