Trying to be happy.

Chapter 3:

(So I'm going to start doing POVs)I just stand there for a minute I don't know what to do.My dad looks as if he is waiting for me to say something
Finally he says, "where have you been!" He yells.The liquor in my system wants to laugh so I do.
"God calm down." I slur in between laughs.
"What the heck Jasmine are you drunk?!"He asks his disappointment masking his anger.
"Yea so I'm probably gonna be hungover in the morning so can I go to sleep."I say walking up stairs leaving my dad up stairs,mouth wide open.When I get upstairs I grab gray shorts a a pink shirt and slippers.After I shower and text Trina that I am safe at home I decide to watch some Television.While I flip through the channels I start to think about Eric's lips on mine.I blush when i start to think about when he told everyone I was his girlfriend.I settle on a re-run of friends.While I watch Rachel waiting to give birth to Emma I start to drift off until my phone rings.I groan and pick it up to see Eric's phone and picture pop up on the screen.
"Hey." I say sitting up.
"Hey beautiful." He says and I giggle.
"Is everything okay?" I ask him turning on my fan,God I'm hot.
"No my friend that I was staying with just bailed on me and I was gonna stay in a hotel,but I don't like sleeping in those alone." He says and I don't understand his point.
"Umm ok?"I say laying back in bed.
"So will you come stay with me?" he asks in the most casual tone ever.
"I don't know we just met and I don't have a way to get there." I say.He must be used to jumping right into relationships.
"First of all, come on babe I'll keep my hands to myself I wouldn't do anything to you we just met.Second I would come pick you up" He says and he is very persuasive.
"Eric we literally just met five hours ago." I say and laugh.
He laughs along with me, "I'll get a room with two beds in on my way,pack clothes and a bathing suit bye." Before I could answer he hangs up.
"What?"I say to myself.i decide to let it go and get a bag and pack a pair of shorts and tank top and put my toiletry bag in there too and all my hair stuff ,then put on my slippers and walk downstairs.Eric texted me about two minutes ago saying he was here. I roll my eyes at his rudeness and walk outside to his truck.
"Hey babe." he greets me putting his hand on my thigh,my body instantly heats and I don't get all he did was put his hand on my thigh.
"Hey Eric."I say leaning against his window.
"You okay Jas."He asks keeping his eyes on the road.I nod and close my eyes while we drive the radio the only thing filling in the silence.When we arrive at the hotel Eric grabs our bags and goes around and opens my door and picks me up.I smile at the small polite gesture.We get a few stares from people passing and "Awws" from drunk college girls.We check into the hotel and the bell boy shows us up to our room.When we get in the room Eric lays me down and takes off his shirt and I can't help but stare.I lays down and my shirt goes up revealing my tattoo.
"When did you get that." Eric asks laying down in his bed.
"About a week ago." I say and cover up with the comforter.I start drift off.Eric gets up off his bed and kisses me on the forehead.I go to sleep thinking about his perfect pink lips.
When I wake up it takes me a minute to remember where i am at.I sit up and see Eric staring at me smiling ear-to -ear.We exchange good mornings and I get up and go to sit by Eric.
" What do you want to do today?" He asks.
"Doesn't matter."i say.
"Let's go swimming."He says I smile I like that idea.
"Okay but not now it's only ten." I say.
"Okay let's go to the mall then, I need you to see the spoiled life of Eric Goodly anyway." He says and I laugh after I put on my black shorts and a white tank top with black dripping letters that says "DOPE." and curl my hair I am ready to go.Eric is dressed in a gray shirt white jeans and gray Jordan's.After we check of the hotel ,we drive to the mall.By the time we get to the mall it is twelve.
"So what store do you want to go to?"He asks handing me his wallet.
"Forever 21." I answer and lead him into the mall.
"I'm not gonna have any money left am I?"He asks.
"No probably not babe."I answer.After two hours of shopping I decide I have too many bags to carry and that we can go swimming now.Eric comparing that he only 6 hundred dollars left until he gets his next check. I just say too bad and he smiles and shakes his head.
When we get to the pool I put on my Bow bikini top and the bottle to go with it.When I step out Eric turns around and his eyes practically pops out to f his head.
"Christ Jasmine." He breathes.I just smile and we get into the pool.We splash and play for about three hours until I am finally ready to go I wrap a towel around my body.
"What are you gonna do when you get home?"He asks while we sit in the Starbucks that I begged him to come to.
"Study." I say and he raises a brow at me.
"Common core classes for college."I answer and he nods they call his name and he gets our coffee and we walk out to his car.We drive to my house and banter about our day.When arrive at my house Eric kisses me and tell me to text him when I settle I promise that I will.I am relieved when I walk into the house and my dad is not there.I decide to shower to get all of this chlorine off of my body after that is off I put on fuzzy pajama pants and a t-shirt,text Eric and lay in bed to study.I study for about an hour before I grow sleepy.I text Eric goodnight and lay down to go to sleep.I had a fun day for once I'm liking this whole boyfriend thing.

(Hi so I already said this in the beginning but I didn't go into detail I'm starting P.O.Vs. Most of the book is gonna be in Jasmines tho.Anyway
