Trying to be happy.

Chapter 6:

I wake up Tuesday morning with the biggest weight on my chest.Trina went home last night since I have school today.I get out of bed,and go to my closet to look in the full length mirror.I look horrible,my eyes are puffy from crying all night.When I pull down my tank top,i see a big bruise from Eric's push yesterday.I guess he's stronger than I thought.I sigh and grab my robe,phone,beat pill,makeup bag,and toiletry bag.I walk into the bathroom and place everything down and grab my phone and turn on "Steal my Girl." by One Direction.I smile at my favorite song and turn the knob on the shower and step in.I wet my hair and body,but stop in my tracks when I run my pouf over the top of my boob where my bruise is.I look in the mirror in my shower.I start to cry when I think about the way Eric pushed me and kicked me out of his car.
I stop crying about three minutes later and finish washing my body and my hair and step out of the shower.I dry my body,put on my robe,and plug the flat iron and blowdryer.I blow dry my hair and curl it.I then put on eyeliner,mascara and a little blush.I get my foundation out of my bag since I will be wearing a tank top today I run it over the bruise,and it covers it up perfectly.I put on my robe and grab my purple tank top that I am wearing and pull it over my black shorts come next.I look into the mirror and I look much better I grab my white moccasins,purse,and bag and leave out the door.When I check the time I have an hour and a half until class.When I get downstairs I see my dad sitting on the couch.
I decide to stop being so rude and greet him.
"Good morning dad!" I say opening the fridge.
He seems surprised that I spoke to him.He greets me the same way.
"Dad,have you ever hurt or you know pushed a woman?"I ask nervously.
"No of course not not a woman."he answers simply.
"Why do you ask,is everything ok with Trina."He adds.
"Umm yea,but my friend....Emily isn't." I lie.
"Never mind I have to go."i say hugging my dad.
When I get outside I text Drew to see if he will pick me up,he replies that he will be here in five minutes.I tell him to meet me at the coffee house instead.Im tired as hell,i need a boost.I get a coffee and wait outside for Drew.He pulls up , gets out of the car ,and opens my door for me.I thank him and get in the car.
"So I heard you and Eric are together,or whatever.Man this is gonna be a long ride.
