Trying to be happy.

Chapter 14:

When I wake up , I am alone in Drew's bed.I get out of the bed and check my phone.It's 9:00 a.m. Wherris he?I put on one of his t-shirts and pajama pants,put my hair in a ponytail and walk out of the room.I walk into the kitchen to see Trina with her hair pulled back into a bun and a spatula in her hand.
"Good Morning."I say to my best friend.
"Good Morning."She beams.
"Where's Drew."I question,taking a seat on the stool.
"Gym."She answers cracking an egg.I nod and rest my head on the counter.
"You ok."She asks.
"Yea I just had a long night."I answer her honestly.
"Did you guys do anything."She asks.
"Trina he's your brother I am not gonna tell you that."I tell her.
"Fine,but the next sleepover we have your telling me ."I laugh.When Trina is done with her breakfast.She sets a plate in front of me.We talk about Preachers Daughters,until we hear the front door open.A sweaty Drew walks in.He gives up a small nod before walking into the bedroom,I quickly follow behind.
"Hey."He says walking up to me,giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey."I say quietly.
"I'm gonna go shower then I will take you somewhere,ok"What about my shower.
"You can use Trina's bathroom."He says seeming to read my mind.I nod and grab my bag.I walk into Trina's bathroom.I undress and step into the hot shower.I quickly wash my body and hair and step out.I plug in my blow dryer,before getting out my outfit and putting it on.I start the blow dryer,i decide to wake my time on my hair since I am rushing everything else.I curl my hair to perfection.I clean up the small mess I have made and walk out of the bathroom.Drew and Trina are sitting on the couch walking television.They both look up at the same time.
"You look really pretty today."Drew compliments.
"I'm tired of being the D.U.F.F."Trina teases.
"Oh stop your still cute,I'm just way cuter."I joke,Trina rolls her eyes and walks to her room.
"Where are we going."I ask Drew.
"You'll see."Drew says taking my hand walking me out of the house.We drive in silence,Drew come to a road filled with hay he keeps driving until he comes to a complete stop in front of a horses stable.
"Let's go."He says opening his car door.I open mine and get out,trying to quickly follow behind Drew.
"Pick your horse."He says,opening a barn door.He takes a brown horse out and looks at me.I still do not know what we are doing,but I take a white horse.Drew puts a hat on me.
"Now I'm gonna show you what your missing."Drew says.Oh we are going horseback riding.We go out to the field and Drew helps me up on the horse.
"Do you know how to do it."Drew asks.
"Yea me and my mom used to ride all the time."I say.Drew nods and gets on his horse.Both of our horses start to go.
"Did you guys live in the country before she died."Drew asks.
"No,but we were in the country a lot."I answer.Drew's horse jumps over a branch and Drew falls off and starts laughing.I start to laugh and fall of my horse.
"Are you okay."I say in between laughs.Drew flips me off.
"Race ya back to the barn."Drew says getting up and starts to run.I get up and start to run.I hurry and get up to run.I catch up to him and try to push his back but his stronger than me and won't budge.I fall to the ground to pretend I am hurt.
"Jazzy are you ok."Drew says,kneeling down next me.I push him down further.
"Sucker."When I reach the barn I look back and decide to wait on Drew.
"Boo."Drew startles me from brushing one of the ponies.
"Ugh Drew."I complain.The rest of the day is spent with the horses.We stop by Burger King before Drew takes me home.
"What about my stuff."I say after I step out of the car.
"I'll bring it to you later."Drew answers.
"Bye princess."He adds.
"Bye Prince."I say,before walking into my house to my room.Today was a lot of fun.I really like Drew.I am so glad that Trina is okay with us.After three hours of Lifetime movies.I get into my pajamas and go to sleep.
