Emma's POV

To say I was shocked when Jill wanted me at the next camp is an understatement and well here I am walking into the hotel in New York with Mal and Rose. T is rooming alone because well we are 23 players so someone has to, so this camp I'm with Abby.

When I got to my room Abby wasn't there yet so I unpacked and decide to take a walk around the blocks to see what you can do close to the hotel.

When I got back it was time for the meeting so I guess everyone has arrived. When I went into the meeting room about half the team was there. I sat down in between Andi and Sam as we talked until Jill started her talk.

She talked about the schedule for this camp and then went on to talk about the two games we had the upcoming 11 days. Then we were free to go but it was time for team bonding and it was Beckys time to choose what to do.

She choose the calm way and we are watching a movie. After everyone having there own opinion Becky turned to me "The rookie get to chose"

I internally face palmed myself before choosing IT. Making about everyone groan. But hear me out. Right now I'm laying on a bed. I have T on my left side and Kelley and Alex on my right Alex's closest to me. I'm smart that's all I'm saying.

The movie started and Rose and Mal were about to leave the room before it even started. I could feel T and Alex moving closer to me making me smile. A few minutes later I could feel Alex holding my sweater.

"Can you stop holding my shirt Kelley" Alex say about one third into the movie

"But you are holding Emma's shirt" Kelley complain

"Because she's all big and strong and can protect me. I can't protect you, you can protect me"

Kelley groan as she see that she won't get any where. The movie continues and the jump scares start to come like right now. About everyone scream and I have Alex hiding under my arm while Tierna is in the crook of my neck.

My arms around both of them. When the movie finally gets to an end. I'm the only one awake in the bed and I'm about to stand up when Alyssa stop me. "Don't I will sleep in your room" I give her a thank full smile before I also close my eyes to get some sleep.

And weird enough I sleep like a rock. Haven't slept this good in years but back to now I wake up with all three still in bed with me but now I have Alex I top of me. I smile to myself before putting a piece of hair behind her ear and running my fingers over her cheek. "Alex you have to wake up" I can hear her groan and see her start to move

Soon all four of us are up and we all walk back to our rooms. Kelley has just walked into hers and Alex and Tierna was gone long ago. I pull Alex back a bit and give her a quick peak on the lips. She gave me a smile before saying "I'm taking you out for lunch tomorrow. 12 in the lobby" We smile at each other once more before she walk in her room and I walk to mine

I walk out the elevator to find Alex standing in the lobby. I give her a smile and a kiss on the cheek before we walk out and down the street. I want to hold her hand but we can its 12pm in New York people will see us 100% so we just walk side by side before we get to a small coffee place. We walk in and order a coffee as well as a salad each and Alex insisted to pay even when I told her not to.

We talked about what has happens the last few weeks and enjoy the small amount of time we had just the two of us.

We walk out the coffee shop and back to the hotel when I remember something "Wait let we show you something" We walked past the hotel and down to a flower shop I had seen yesterday

"Stay here" I told her before walking in. I bought a red rose and walk out. I led her to a empty park a few blocks down before turning to face her

"I know this isn't very romantic but I want to ask this question before we go back. You to Florida and I to Washington" I gave her a nervous smile before continuing. "We haven't known each other for long but you mean so much to me and I hope we can spend so much more time together. So would you like to be my girlfriend Alex?" I handed her the rose and gave her a smile

"Of course I will be your girlfriend Em" And before I could reply her soft lips were on mine. I kissed her back with as much love as I could before we pull away smiling at each other

"We should head back" She then said and I just answered with a nod.

And the rest of the day I had a smile on my face. I mean who wouldn't if you get to call Alex Morgan your girlfriend
