Emma's POV
"Yea. Okey. Thank you I will talk to you later" I put my phone down. Who knew trying to get a traded would be so hard

I have put in a a trade request to go from Washington to Orlando because after these two months I know it will be hard if both Alex and me. Especially right now when Nylah is as young as she is

Does Alex know about it? No

I just think it will be fun do surprise her if it happens

This pandemic is toning down a bit and you don't have to be in quarantine any more which is nice so we have been at Krashlyns house a few times just to see some people

Orlando's train has also started up again. So Alex is back on the field while I still train at home because the trade isn't moving so fast

Nylah is doing more then sleeping, eating and crying now so it's getting more fun everyday to spend time with her as she is laying on the floor or in our bed

Right now me and Jaden is making lunch while Alex is at training and Nylah is sleeping. We have just put everything on the table when Alex walk in

Soon she also appear in the kitchen with a frown on her face. "What's going on babe" Is at looking at her

"Ash and Ali is leaving Orlando"

"Ohh" I walk over and pull her into a hug. "Is there a reason"

"Ali's mom has got cancer and both her and Kyle is moving closer and Ash is going with her. So they have requested trades to Washington so they can be closer while still playing"

"Let's eat and we can talk more about it later"

Dinner was quite because Alex wasn't in a good mood so both me and Jaden keep quiet not wanting to upset her more

After we ate Alex left for a walk probably to get her mind straight so I decided to call Ash who answers after a few seconds

"What's up Emma"

"I just wanted to call about Ali's mother and ask how it's was. Alex told me when she got home from practice"

"Yea. Now she's good but they are going to start treating it next week and they don't really know how much the side effects is going to affect her so both Kyle and Ali is moving back home and I'm just tagging along"

"Totally understand. Alex told me you two are leaving the Pride"

"Yea. We don't know how long it will take so we thought it was better to try at play as close to home as possible and they don't have the same homophobic trainer anymore so I hope it will be better. I still hope the Pride does good tho. It has been my team for multiple years now"

"Trust me it's in good hands"

"So who do you think is going to stand in between the posts next session then. You or me"

"You. Easy"

"I would have said you all day"

"Nah. I have requested a trade to Orlando. So we are switching places"

"For real"

"For real but don't tell anyone. No one knows. Not even Alex"

"Okey. Well good luck then hopefully all our trades go through"

"Yea. I will hear from you. I need to go Nylah is waking up and Alex isn't home" I put my phone in my pocket before walking to the nursery were Nylah is now awake and trying to move around

"Are you hungry little one" I ask tickling her stomach. She give me a smile as I carry her down stairs and grab the bottle of milk Alex has already pumped

When she was done eating I grabbed myself some dinner while Jaden kept an eye on his sister

The hours past and at this point it's was 9pm and Alex still wasn't home making me a bit worried

I had called her but it quickly turned into voice mail. Three texts but no answer. So when I got in bed I was worried sick.

I don't know how long I had been laying in bed because I woke up to someone getting in it. I quickly pulled the person closer realizing it was Alex

"What's the time" I ask with my head in her neck

"11"

"We're have you been all afternoon"

"I went for a walk and kinda forgot about the time when my phone died" I pulled her as close as I could before placing a kiss on her neck

"Okey. Now you need to sleep. If I'm not wrong you have practice tomorrow"

"Good night babe"

"Good night princess" And with that I feel back asleep but this time with my girlfriend safe in my arms
