Emma's POV
Right now I'm sitting on the bench in our game against Sweden. We won against Thailand with 13-0 and Alex scored 5 goal so if you couldn't guess it I was really happy for her. Then we won over Chile with 3-0

It's the 63 minute and we have a lead with 2-0. One goal by Lindsay and one by Tobin. Sweden got a corner from some poor defending from us so everyone is lining up

The ball go in and are about to land on a Swedish head but out of no where Alyssa gets a hand on it before falling to the ground. Sam gets the ball out of play to a throw in but the referee blow the whistle pausing the game as the medical staff run onto the field.

It's hard to see what going on but after a minute she is still laying on the ground when I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Your going in" Jill say and with out answering I get up and try to quickly warm up

When they finally get Alyssa of the field it has been 7 minutes which makes me think it's something really bad that have happen. I get that though out of my head before the game is on again

For the rest of the game the only thing my mid is set on is to not let a goal in and when the referee finally end the game it's still 2-0 meaning we won the group with Sweden getting second.

When we get of the field everyone walk into the locker room and are kinda surprised when Alyssa isn't there

"Where I Lys" Carli say what's on everyone's mind

"She had to be taken to the hospital because we think she broke something in her leg" Jill say

The news made everyone kinda sad even if we had just won our group and when we finally made our way to the bus Jill took me to the side

"Now that Alyssa is out I'm going to be starting you. I know this is a very big thing for someone this young and someone that hasn't play professionally for to long but I trust you and I think you are going to do a great job" I just give her a nod not really trusting my voice

When we get to the hotel I take a quick shower before I fall handless on my bed. I'm going to be starting in my first World Cup match four days from now

The next morning we are early to grab some quick breakfast before getting to the airport and making our way to Reims where we are going to play Spain

The flight is short so when we land and get to the hotel it's only 1pm but Alex have be complaining on how her muscles are stiff and how they hurt as soon as she move and I know that it's annoying everyone so when I get to the hotel I make my way to my room before sending her a text

And soon there is a knock at the door. I open it and let my beautiful girlfriend in

"So what's up"

"Lay on the bed. Face down bare upper body"

She look at me kinda confused

"Do you want a massage or not"

And like that she is laying on the bed face down with out a shirt and a bra on. I just slightly laugh at her before sitting down right where her back end with one leg on each side of her

As I play my warm hand on her back I can feel her relax. I start with her neck and shoulders before slowly moving down her while back. When I'm done with her back I turn myself around and work my way down her legs before getting up

"Put the shirt back on and lay on your back" And she do as I say with out and complains

I massage her arms and thighs before placing a soft kiss on her lips. "Does it feel better now"

"Very much" She say with a smile before sitting up

"Can I ask you a question" I ask as I pull her into my lap

"Sure"

"You know how I'm dropping that album and it's kinda my life story"

"Yea?"

"Well, two of the songs is about my ex. Her that broke my heart and I just wanted to ask of it was okey to drop them because it can seam like I want her back if you just listen to the song and not the whole album but the only one I will ever want is you just so you know"

"Do the song mean anything to you. Like, is it something you feel is important to get of your chest" She ask not sounding mad or annoyed at all so I just nod as an answer

"Then I don't mind. I know that in the end of the day you come running back to me telling me how much you want me" This makes a big smile appear on my face

"Love you"

"Love you too" She answer before playing a kiss on my lips

I will never get tired of the feeling when her lips touch mine
