Emma's POV
Training. That's what's happening today. We aren't doing anything to heavy because we have a game in two days but still.

We did some shooting drills. I was in goal of course. Then we did some passing and the we played some 5v5

After training everyone took a shower and then we made our way back to the hotel. We didn't have anything to do for the rest of the day. But we could leave the hotel because their is way to many paparazzi outside. So we decided to spend the day just chilling in the meeting room.

We started of with eating lunch and then everyone was of to do what ever. Well I decided to go around and speak different languages with people and film it. Just to fuck with them a bit

I decided to start with Tobin and Alex who were sitting on the sofa talking. I sat down in between them as I said. "Och vad gör ni två idag" (And what are you two doing today)

"Excuse me" Tobin asked really fucking confused

"I think that was Swedish and I can't talk that so sorry" Alex said

"CHRISTEN can you come over here"

"What's going on" She asked as she looked at the three of us

"We need a translation. Say it again Emma"

"Och vad gör ni två idag"

"You guys are really putting me on the spot here but I think it's has something to do with do to day. So like what are you two doing today or what are you guys doing today" She looked at me to confirm if she was right

"And what are you two doing today"

"Kinda surprised I still remember some stuff" She say as she sit down next to Tobin

"Well I'm going to talk to other people so bye guys" I say as I stand up

"DONT LEAVE ME THIRD WHEELING" Alex say as she get up and walk after me. Tobin and Christen started blushing like crazy and I just laugh at how easy the two of them blush before stopping next to Mal

"Que se passe-t-il ici jeune femme" (What's going on here young lady)

"LINDSAY" And soon she has joined us

"Can you translate her"

"Que se passe-t-il ici jeune femme"

"What are you doing young lady" Lindsay quickly translate

"Not much" Mal answers as she go back to her phone. I just chuckle at her before going to the next person

We had media day the whole fucking day yesterday and it was so tiring but today it's game day and surprisingly I'm not nervous at all. I just feels like a normal game day. Like it would be a friendly game we are about to play

Alyssa ended up with a broke leg and will be out for about two to three months so I will be playing every game from now on which is kinda scary but also a really good opportunity for me so yea

Well right now we are pulling up outside the stadium. Everyone walk of the buss and we make our way to the locker room.

I change into my warm up gear before me and Ash make our way out on the field for some warm ups. A few minutes later the rest of the team also join us.

20 minutes before kick of everyone get back into the locker room and we put our match gear on and we did the last minute speech before we make our way out in the tunnel and I line up behind Megan as we soon start to walk out on the field.

After kick of it doesn't take long for us to get under way. In the 5 minute Tobin has the ball on the wing and try to cut in but when she get inside the penalty box she is fouled giving us a penalty. Megan step up and easily place it in the bottom left corner giving us a lead

But it doesn't take long for Spain to also get on the scores board. It has only past 4 minutes when a mistake happen in the back line giving  Spain and easy scoring chance that I can do nothing about and they don't waste and just like that the score is 1-1

Both teams have some good chances before halftime time but nothing that pass the goal line. When we get back out on the field. It's way more intense and I have to make two big saves to keep us in the game until the 71 minute when Alex get a ball in the box but quickly give it to Rose who is fouled in the box going us another penalty

They decided to check it with VAR for way to long in my opinion but it ended up being a penalty anyway and Megan once again put it in the back of the net and when the referee finally blow her whistle the score is still 1-2 sending us to the next match

Traveling is hard. I can't remember last time I was this tired. Anyway today is my birthday which mean we played France a few days ago and it was one hell of a game.

Megan got us the lead early in the match by a free kick and that result stayed all the way to the 65 minute when Megan put another one in the back of the net with an assist from Tobin. France did get a goal from a really good free kick and I couldn't do anything from my placement in goal but we did win which is sick because now we have two games left in this tournament and we have a big chance to leave with a medal.

Anyway. I wasn't woken up by my alarm but of a soft kiss on my lips leaving a small smile on my face. "Good morning babe" The voice of my beautiful girlfriend said

"Morning to you two" I said with a smile my eyes still closed

"Happy birthday" She said against my lips before giving me another kiss

"You need to get up we are going out for breakfast like a team before we have light training at 11" I let out a groan as I sat up in the bed and open my eyes for the first time today

Alex helped me up and to get ready so we finally could make our way down to the lobby

"AND HERE WE HAVE THE BIRTHDAY KID" Ash screamed as I walk in

"24 suits you good" Christen said as she hugged me

When I was done hugging everyone we made our way to get breakfast and let me tell you it was good. The day past by smoothly and it was one of the best birthdays I have had even tho me couldn't really celebrate it.

The team also took me out for dinner and I didn't have to pay for my food which I didn't like but it was nice of them. Right now Alex and I are in my room and have just watched a short movie.

"You should head back to your room so you can sleep. We have a game tomorrow"

"But I want to stay here with you"

"I want nothing more then that but you know that it won't work"

She gave me a sad smile before giving me a kiss

"I won't be able to wake you up tomorrow for your birthday but just know I love you and you will get all the kisses you want when we get some time alone"

"Love you too" She say before giving me one last kiss and leaving my room

I am so fucking whipped for that girl
