Emma's POV
She Believes. That's today. Our first game against Japan. I'm not playing but who cares really I just enjoy spending time with the team.

I'm on the beach beside Chris as we start of our game really good we are definitely the leading team but about 20 minutes in Julie gets the ball at mid field. She plays a ball up to Mal who quickly plays it to Tobin on the wing. Tobs take the ball all they way down to the side line where she play a ball backwards which land right at Megan's feet as she just tap it in.

I'm celebrating with the once on the bench and we have small talks until half time.

The match ended 2-2. Japan scored to make it 1-1 before Christen got subbed in and assisted Alex's 99th goal. But unfortunately they got another goal in before the clock hit 90 minutes.

We have had recovery and right now we are eating dinner at the hotel trying to cheer up again from the match. We play England in a few days so we need to get back on track so we can at least win that game.

After dinner we all go to bed because well we are tired and tomorrow we travel to Tennessee.

The next morning my alarm go of at 7. Me and Tierna quickly change and grab our suitcases that we packed last night before walking down to the lobby.

Soon after everyone is there and we on to the buss. I along with a few others fall asleep on the buss as we make the 30 minute ride to the airport.

We get there, check in our luggage and get through security before we slit up. I'm with Chris, Tobin and Alex as we walk around through the stores at the airport.

After about 20 minutes of walking around I can't seem to find Christen and Tobin anymore so we just leave them. I mean they are adults they should find their way to the gate.

Me being me decided to by some candy even tho I know Dawn is going to be up my ass if she finds out but who cares I just want to enjoy myself some time.

"Want some" I offer Alex as we are on the way to the gate

"We are in the middle of an tournament and you eat candy. That's kinda dum but I will gladly take one"

I laugh at her as we get to the gate and I hide the candy. A few minutes later we all board the plane and take our seats. I'm at the window with Kelley and Alex on my right side. Kelley closest to me but I wish it was Alex so I could fall asleep on her shoulder.

Anyway the flight was really boring. I tried to sleep but it was hard with Kelley by my side. After the plain landed it took about 2 hours until we where at the hotel and for some reason everyone got their own room which was really nice because I'm not a fan of sharing. Of it isn't Alex

So when I get to my room I just throw myself on the bed not bothering to unpack or do anything else for the rest of the night

March 2019
I'm standing in the tunnel with Pinoe in front of we as we get ready to walk out on the field and long story short. Alyssa did something with her hand during training so I got to start today. I totally thought Ash would start but I guess Jill didn't think the same way.

We are doing a thing to celebrate other women so we should put their last name on our shirt so I have Solo. And I know I'm going to get a lot of criticism because of it but I will tell you the first one I thought of was Alex. But since she still plays I didn't because well I know she's going to feel old and then I'm going to have to tell her how she isn't

It's the 32 minute when Kelley run up the field with the ball by her feet. She send a long cross trying to reach Alex but an English defender gets in the way so It drop down in front of Pinoe you just bang it right under the cross bar.

But what wasn't good was that only a few minutes later they got a free kick right outside the box and as Houghton curve it at the back post I don't reach it. It just touch my finger tips hitting the post before landing in goal.

And 1-1 is the score when the first half is over.

In the second half England get some good chances but I managed to keep everything out so that we are leveled.

It's now the 66 minute when we get a corner. Pinoe take it as always. It lands in the middle but no one get a touch on it. The only thing O can see is people running around until finally they all start to celebrate. As well as me even tho I don't know what happened.

I look at the big screen to see the ball loose in the box until Tobin get a foot on it getting it over the line.

We are around the 90th minute right now and it super intense. England is pushing up hard to try to get another goal in but we are holding back good even getting some chances of our own.

But we managed to keep everything out and the ref finally blow her whistle in the 94th minute giving us the win and making the over all score a tie between us and Japan how won over Brazil with 2-1

After I decided to take an ice bath with Carli and Tobin before getting in the shower and then putting my normal clothes on.

Everyone slowly start to make their way to the buss so we can do some recovery and eat dinner before we all pass out

Alyssas hand still isn't good so right now we are in Tampa Florida and I'm standing in goal against Brazil. It's around the 20th minute when I make an easy save from Marta.

I look up and see Tobin so I throw the ball at her and it land right by her feet. She makes a run all the way up the field until she makes a pass to Alex who shoot but the keeper step out to deflect Alex shoot which she is successful with but the ball land right at Tobins feet so she just puts it in the back of the net like its something she do everyday.

The rest of the match is kinda boring. A few good chances both ways but noting serious.

And because we won we also won the SheBelieves cup 2019. England ended up coming second and Japan third.

After everyone has got their medal Carli, Megan and Alex stand in the middle to lift the trophy. As they do confetti go of and we celebrate a bit.

When we are back in the locker room I take it slow like always but when when everyone ha slept to the showers Alex is still left

"And what makes you stay" I ask as I take my shirt off

"Well we are in Florida right now and my parents are here for a few days so I can spend time with them before going back to playing soccer so I wanted to ask if you would like to meet them today at dinner and this time be introduced as my girlfriend" I can see how she don't really know how to say it but I just give her a smile before looking around seeing that we are still alone before placing a kiss on her lips
